A barebones R&B-Soul instrumental. It's a musical bed written for a local group of wives who meet for a dance workout session one day a week. They asked me if I could write some original music for them - they were getting tired of the same 12 or 15 songs. This is my first offering. The music is a simple bed, thus the name (nothing to do with trying to repeal or replace anything!) The horns are a little quiet in the first verse but are more prominent thereafter - kind of a mild build, I guess you could say. I used the Belair style and changed out a few instruments and added a couple others. Di's health has kept me away for a couple of weeks. She's doing a little better, so I'm trying to catch up. Will be over to listen as many of the songs posted recently as I can. J&B Hey ... thanks so much! I'll be giving them a CD with about 10 tunes on it in the next couple of weeks. They said they liked what they heard with this one. I have three written so far.
