Really appreciate the fix in 9.5 for the RealTracks glitch in LoopSec and Conductor directed changes, but these functions do not work correctly on frozen files - at least on my rig. This problem has nothing to do with RealTracks. Anyone else see this problem?

Now details:
First - initial conditions:
Dell Laptop, 1.7G Pentium, 1G RAM, XP Media Center Edition, SP2.
BIAB2009.5 (285)
Box for "Simulate NUMPAD keys (for notebook users)" is checked.
Conductor is configured with the "Enable Control by QWERTY keys" checked, in the default mode - which sets the action to go back/ahead at the next chorus. Display is in Notation (or chords) window.

1) create an 8 bar progression with a tag at the end of bar 6 to an ending beginning at 9 and lasting thru 14. Speed is 140bpm. 3 Choruses.

Style is ZZJAZZ.STY. Midi Bass, Piano, Drums. Guitar/Strings/Melody/Soloist/Thru all muted.

2) Press Play - the file builds and begins play automatically - no problem. Plays through all 3 choruses and takes the tag correctly at the end of the third chorus.

3) Press Play again. Now, sometime in the first chorus press the keyboard numeric key "5". At the end of the first chorus, the chorus counter goes to 3 and the song executes the 3rd chorus correctly - bass doesn't walk, takes the tag ending. All good.

4) Try again - repeat step 3, all is well.

5) Now Freeze the file

6) Press Play, file plays - no problem. Second chorus drums change to B style, bass walks - no problems.

7) Try again - repeat step 6 using replay, all is well.

8) Press Replay again but sometime during first chorus hit the "5" key. At the end of the first chorus the chorus counter goes to 3 but the bass begins to walk (B style) and the drums play the B style. At the tag the moving bar highlight on the display goes to the tag ending but the audio execution does not. Audio goes back to beginning of chorus and plays until the bar highlight reaches the end of the tag (bar 14 in this case).

9) Press replay, song plays fine all the way through, tag ending executes at the end of the 3rd chorus.

10) Press replay, song plays fine. Sometime during chorus 2 press "4". At the end of chorus two the chorus counter stays at 2 but the drum and bass play A parts and the song takes the tag ending even through bar highlighter shows it going back to the beginning of the chorus as it should.

So, appears a pointer does not get updated correctly when real-time changes are made to a frozen file. Same things happens on any song file.

Hope this description helps.

Thanks
