I know how to enter eighth note and quarter note triplets in a notation window. Is is possible to enter 16th note triplets? If so, how?

Look under "beat resolution" in the manual. Easy, once you do it.
"Resolution The above example is in Jazz Swing style so Band-in-a-Box has automatically set the grid resolution to 3 per beat (triplets). This resolution can be changed in the Notation Options dialog, but the program automatically sets the resolution to the correct value based upon the Band-in-a-Box style that is in use. - Swing styles use 3 lines to divide each beat into eighth note swing triplets. - Straight styles use 4 lines to divide each beat into sixteenth notes.

Beat Resolution The user can manually set the resolution for any beat in the Beat Resolution dialog, which opens with a right-click on the timeline.

Setting the “Treble Clef Resolution for this Beat” to 5 allows a group of five notes to be placed on one beat."

Thanks. I think I know these tricks. What I'm looking for is a true 16th note triplet. That is, 3 16ths per eighth note or 6 to the beat.

Joe, I've just had a try and while I can certainly enter note values that are 1/16th triplets, and they play correctly, I cannot get them to notate correctly. Have a look at MuseScore. It is freeware and is an excellent notation program. There are help videos on Youtube. BIAB's notation editor is great but it's not a full blown notation program. Regards, Noel

The notation for uneven beat counts can be a bit hit-and-miss.
I've seen your issue. Sometimes triplet notation displays fine, other times I've found that it's been impossible to reproduce.

Joe, if you use MuseScore as Noel suggested, you should know that it reads BIAB files directly. A major advantage.
