Hi all...I want to get a better laptop for music use only (creating backing tracks with Biab and playing the wav files from the laptop in medium sized rooms...about 50 people)
There was also a mention in a previous thread about "weeding out the bloatware"...how would I go about doing that?

Go check out PC-Decrapifier for a nice easy way to get rid of bloatware that comes with a new PC.

Yes, that’s a good one. Another approach is to be careful not to add more. Free software is a likely candidate for this. Some websites, too.

It took out google toolbar etc.

It took out google toolbar etc. Just remember, Google is not your friend. You are Google's friend.
