Hi everyone,
I also have problems rendering any of the Video RT, similar to some post here reporting the same issue.
I have the 505 update rev, Quick Time most recent version, the problem is present in windows xp (sp3) and the same in Windows 7 SP1.
After an audio convertion error, the audio is apparently re-rendered using an alternate method, after that the video rendering is frozen in "Rendering video 1 of 1" status forever.
Band in a box yellow boxes report:
"Rendering audio..." Audio Conversion Error: Media Foundation falied to m4a. Trying alternate conversion method... The error numbre is -1
- Converting file: [path]_Render_DragDrop_0.WAV
- File is successfuly rendered for drag and drop
- Rendering video 1 of 1
I traced the disk activity during the rendering proccess with a file monitor, which did report this:
- QUERY INFORMATION C:\BIAB_mySongs\Guitar[V] video.mp4 = NOT FOUND / Attributes: Error
- QUERY INFORMATION C:\Band in a Box\Data\VJT\OutProgress_100.txt = SUCCESS / Attributes: A
- QUERY INFORMATION C:\Band in a Box\Data\VJT\sourceVid3.mp4 = NOT FOUND / Attributes: Error
- QUERY INFORMATION C:\BIAB_mySongs\Guitar[V] video.mp4 = NOT FOUND / Attributes: Error
- QUERY INFORMATION C:\Band in a Box\Data\VJT\OutProgress_100.txt = SUCCESS / Attributes: A
- QUERY INFORMATION C:\Band in a Box\Data\VJT\sourceVid3.mp4 = NOT FOUND / Attributes: Error
- QUERY INFORMATION C:\BIAB_mySongs\Guitar[V] video.mp4 = NOT FOUND / Attributes: Error
- QUERY INFORMATION C:\Band in a Box\Data\VJT\OutProgress_100.txt = SUCCESS / Attributes: A
- QUERY INFORMATION C:\Band in a Box\Data\VJT\sourceVid3.mp4 = NOT FOUND / Attributes: Error
and so on in a endless loop...
What is wrong or what I am missing? need help. Thanks.

When it is stuck on "Rendering video 1 of 1" does the progress bar move at all, or is it stuck at zero percent?
Can you give an example name of the RealTrack you are trying to make a video out of?

Hi Blake, thanks for reply.
The green progress bar appear already full at 100% (no previous filling on display) and stuck there. My file activity monitor (Filemon) show a infinite loop as I describe in my post.
However the instrument notation is rendered well and I get the final video well rendered, as long as videos of the performing instrument are not included, only notation, otherwise it gets stuck.
Even after update to 506, actually the issue still happening with all realtrack video styles, such as:
Style is _GOGETER.STY (Go Get 'Er Hustling Jazz Shuffle)
Style is _BIGRIG.STY (Big Rig Train-Beat Country)
Style is _HOTCLUB.STY (Hot Club Gypsy Jazz w Solo)
and more.

My report on build 507 update (Thanks for the effort)
- No longer stuck in "Rendering video 1 of 1"
- Notation video render works flawlessly, as long as there are not instruments video included in the render setup.
- Instruments video render still don't working.
- As the 507 update inform, now there is a message log describing the video render error in technical terms.
The ErrorLog reads :

ffmpeg_vjt.exe -i "vidSeg_1_3.mp4" -filter:v "setpts=0,642857142857143*PTS" -y "vidFinal2.mp4"

Are you running as Administrator?
Right-click BiaB desktop icon and select 'run as administrator' and see if there is an improvement.

Thanks, yes, and full admin privileges account.
I wonder if Band in a Box uses its own set of codecs to create the video, in this case mp4, or if it uses the codecs available in the system. I could try a fresh new codecs installation and test.

Are you running BiaB as administrator? It may be privilege related.

yes ,i´m running it as admin,but didn´t got good results.I think it could be a problem with my upgrade set up from 2016 to 2019 .There must be somthing wrong. It also does not work on other machines with other operating systems.
