I really love PG Music. In the past I had used the pirated version, but the first thing I have done when I made money was to purchase the Pro version. I love PG music, you create the most powerful “music machine” in the world. I have used and tested thousand programs to create music, and in my opinion Band in a box is the best… You are very perfectionist and love your job, I see it in the regular updates, the costant evolution of the program, this wonderful and kind forum. It’s a really beautiful thing. I never loved the people who love programs, but I must admit that I feel a sort of affection for this software: the interface is simple and it is cute because it remind me a bit the glorious Windows XP. Band in a Box looks like a simple program at first sight. BIAB shines for its capabilities. And I feel good when I see the face of the people changing when I show them how powerful it is. It’s always WOW face followed by “Incredible…”. I’d never imaginated that a day I had a real band in my computer, sometimes I am still genuinely surprised . Your English is fine don't worry about it.
A lot of us feel the same way. Also this is one of the friendliest forums you will ever come across. Also remember the only dumb question is one that is not asked. Plus the answer will never be Read The Freaking Manual. Their are lots of great and talented people here that are willing to help musicians of all skill levels.

You have THE best software of its type backed by THE best support staff I have ever seen, AND you get the benefit of THE best forum user base anywhere. Way too many product support forums are filled with people who prefer to be condescending and treat people who don't know something as if they are lesser life forms. Not this one. These folks are extremely willing to help you learn. And there are deep dark corners of this software that I don't even know about yet, and it's been just under 7 years for me since I got my first copy and joined.
In your music travels you will run into people who know songs but not music. Here you have strong players AND people strong in fundamentals and theory. And the use of the software, while it is easy once you know it, takes a while to reach the "know it" stage. I learned YESTERDAY how to put automation into tracks. (Thank you Rog!) You will also find people who are willing to take time and help you with your actual songs if you want that. I have worked with Rog (me in Ohio, him in England) on at least a dozen songs, ranging from him playing parts for me and engineering final mixes and his students singing my songs and adding backing vocals. A couple he has redone completely and in each case made me think "Why didn't I write it that way in the first place?"
