Hi All,
Finally I have something to post!
Thanks to everyone involved with Pg music especially the forum members who are brill.
My book keeping skills are pretty shocking,I cant even find the lyrics of my own song!Anyway one is about the heroes of the Titanic which set sail 106yrs today from Southampton and the other is about making a song for Heaven and Earth. The Big Sleep is basically a song I made on musescore and transfered it to BIAB and then played all the sheet music for each instrument with Arturia.Hugh

What a beautiful haunting tune. The the inclusion of Morse Code.
I found this very melodic and captivating. Great concept and a wonderful piece of song writing. Rob

Thanks Rob and Torrey ,
Yeah the concept was hard in the sense that a song about the Titanic could become very corny very quickly and I took the decision not to mention Titanic except in the Title.
Her vocal is perfect for the song and she was amazingly professional.
On the video production the credits including an animated logo were done on microsoft power point which can make a presentation into a video (2010 onwards)
I was surprized how much I got out of powerpoint to be honest.
Thanks for the comments really nice Hugh

Wow! That was much more than I expected! smile

I hate to use the word "interesting", but since floydjane already did... interesting, and in a good way.

You've demonstrated great versatility in delivering this from every angle.

Wow - was this ever unique, especially for the showcase. You did an amazing job with capturing that haunting, dark mood. I got some chills listening/watching this.

You nailed what you were going for here - thanks for sharing smile

You obviously spent a lot of time putting this together, quite an ambitious piece! Nice touch using that morse code SOS signal at the intro and then throughout.

Very cool indeed, enjoyed the listen and the video.

Hi Thanks for those positive comments,
Dave it took a long time ur right mainly though not getting the vocal right and when I heard the backing vocals how haunting they were I then came up with what I call "the death scene" and that brought about the SOS signal idea. The singer had a difficulty with sibilance and their were alot of s's in the song .(but she was brill)
Videotrack covering the angles just came with the theme my sales pitch is Haunting Melody,Lifesaving Lyrics lol. Thanks for the comments
Floyd n David C yeah the subject is interesting and I think its because when we think of the Titanic it comes down to "Do I get in the life boat or not? "and also their is a debate that goes on about "What was the last song the band played " and I anwered that in a sense ,they like everyone else just wanted to be saved so I wrote what the band were thinking as they played the last song.
Deryk thank you for comments ,really glad you enjoyed it.But BIAB have been amazing (mentioned in the credits) and without PG there are no songs like this simple as that, they dont happen,Hugh

Well done! A very clever and effective lyric and arrangement.

The effort expended is apparent and we enjoyed the outcome...
