Brilliant documentary on Jeff Beck from early YardBirds and his amazing guitar playing through the years.

Can't see it here in Canada unfortunately, because I'm a huge Jeff Beck fan! I get the following message:

BBC iPlayer only works in the UK. Sorry, it’s due to rights issues.

Sorry about that I should have mentioned it's only available in the UK.

I notice Amazon are taking pre-orders for the DVD out on the 18th May.

This is incredible interesting to me. Jeff Beck was no doubt an incredible guitarist. This reminds me - I'm overdue for a Yardbirds listening session.

Thanks for sharing smile

Anyone with any doubts on who rules the guitar just listen to this.

They called him the day before and said Clapton was going to be a no show (apparently) and wanted to know if he could pull off some Beatles.

He showed up and did this the next night.

Tal Wilkenfeld pretty awesome as well.

Thanks for telling us about this Brian.
Just watched it today.

I couldn't find it as a streaming video.

Luckily, the library had it.

It was so incredible to see him live!

Jeff Beck is one of the great guitarists that evolved from the 1960s. He is one of my favorites.

Tal Wilkenfeld is one great bassist.

I agree on both counts, Mario!

I have a few of his concert DVD's, but my absolute favorite is the live performance at Ronnie Scotts. That small club setting brought out the best in him and his band IMHO, which at that time included Tal Wilkenfeld on bass.

I saw him live in the late 60's. The Jeff Beck Group, with Ron Wood on bass, Rod Stewart singing. They came to Boston, right before their album was released, so few people knew who he, Ron, and Rod were. The audience was blown away. Yes, he is a remarkable guitar player, who seemed most interested in playing music, didn't seem to care about fame. which made me appreciate him more.
