OP JoanneCooper Veteran Joined: May 2012 Posts: 2,931 South Africa	I just had a message that they are playing my Band-in-a-Box cover of Bob Marley's "Is this Love" on SAfm on Friday evening (SAfm is one of our premier radio stations) AND they want to do a live phone interview! They have said they will call me around 21:30 SA time which is 19:30 GMT and 14:30 USA central. I don't know what questions they will ask me but if they ask me anything about my production BIAB is sure to get a mention. Thanks so much. I appreciate the support. It really was very unexpected. I think that Cover in the Week must be approaching the radio stations because the DJ who contacted me said this was his third week of presenting a Cover in a Week song and he said that "since I was a local he wanted to do a phone interview". There does seem to be a South African connection, though, with the Cover in a Week record label "Split Sounds". They have just sent a sneak peak preview email with their next challenge and I would love to see some other BIAB folks joining in. I think it is a song that we can try and get some "modern sounding covers" made. I will post details in a separate thread. Herb, no that was BIAB actually playing the uke on the recording (and the guitar for that matter). Those PG musicians play much better than I can ever hope to.
