Ich geh von aus dass die Frage nicht davon abhängt ob MAC oder Windows: Kann man bei BIAB 2018 bestimmte Stimmen auf einzelne Audio Outs ausgeben. Bsp. Bass - channel 17/18 Piano 19/20 Drums 21/22 usw. In der Audio Config hab ich nur gesehen dass ich ein Audiointerface auswählen kann, bzw. use default device Im device steht 8 channel.... (was in meinem Fall definitiv nicht stimmt, da mein audio Interface mehr als acht channel hat) - wo genau gehen die channels hin ??? In meinem Audio Interface kommt aber nur bei Ch01/02 was an - kann man keine anderen Channels adressieren? Oder geht nut stereo out? Hoffe das ich nicht der einzige bin der das jemals angemacht hat

Hallo Mio, herzlich willkommen im Forum. Band in a Box selbst kann nur Stereo (also auf Kanal 1 und 2) ausgeben. Du kannst das aber mit dem mitgelieferten RealBand umgehen. Dort öffnest du dein Band-in-a-Box-File und kannst dann jedem Track einen Audio-Chaannel zuordnen. Ja jetzt scheint es doch einen Unterschied zu geben zwischen MAC und PC !
Bin inzwischen auf MAC umgestiegen und dort scheint es gar kein RealBand zu geben !?

Hallo Mio,
aber ja, es gibt eine ganze Reihe Unterschiede zwischen der PC- und der Mac-Version, oder ums genau zu sagen, eine Reihe Einschränkungen bei der Mac Version. Dazu gehört auch, dass es für RealBand kein Pendant in der Mac-Version gibt.
Man kann darüber so oder so denken, aber Band in a Box ist historisch einfach immer ein PC-Programm gewesen (und ursprünglich auch mal auf dem Atari) und eine Mac-Version gibt es erst seit wenigen Jahren - und die auch immer nur auf das Hauptprogramm Band in a Box beschränkt. Auch heute noch wird von Peter Gannon und seinen Entwicklern immer zuerst die PC-Version weiterentwickelt und dann die MAC-Version. PG Music ist nur ein eher kleines Softwarehaus mit eingeschränkten Ressourcen.
