If you go to the Notation Window and click Opt to get to Notation Window Options, you'll find a Transpose box near the top left.
Type any negative or positive number in that box, and all notation and chords will be transposed up or down by that number of semitones, just like in Band-in-a-Box.
The settings don't carry over with your songs because it's a global setting in each program, and isn't saved in song files.
The Chord Sheet doesn't change using this method. The Notation does.
In 2018 there is a Visual Transpose button in the Chords window that does change the chords (visual) .. but I do not have a 2014 version to check right now ..
//I see Pipeline pointed out the same thing while I was editing//

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!
That makes no sense to me. 2018 has the same number of tracks as 2017 or 2014 .. RB has had 48 tracks since it started.
Maybe you need to simply open the 2014 seq files in the 2017 version of RB or 2018, whatever
Not sure what year the feature was added .. but it works as shown here in RB 2018. As Pipeline pointed out, the Visual Transpose (in the Chords window) seems to work fine here, the Notation Option method may not behave as expected in this situation/need Maybe it's more track oriented than Chords

Pipeline, I can't explain why it's not working for you. In the 2018 version, typing a number in that Transpose box and clicking OK does transpose the notation and the chords in the Notation Window, as well as in the Chord Sheet, exactly like if I'd clicked Visual Transpose in the Chord Sheet, or clicked Transpose in Notation Window Options and chosen an instrument out of the list.
In the 2014 version, this only transposes the notation and the chords in the Notation Window, but the Chord Sheet still displays the chords in concert key.
The 2017 version seems to do this exactly like 2018, so I think that's the solution. KGU 2, if you install your 2017 version over your 2014 version, then it'll have access to all of your RealTracks. The only reason 2017 has less than 2014 is that it was installed to a new folder, instead of over your old version.

Ok Im really confused now. I bought the 2014 with a drive { Ultra? } with lots of files. When I bought 2017, it was the program, with some extras I added in my cart.. I dont use 2017 now, cause I dont have access to my 2014 drive files. { right? } I figured I bought the stripped down version, and was out of luck.
Are you saying they can be used?
thanks

Hi rharv,
see my post to Kent above please.
------------------------------ my 2014 version has many more tracks.

If you install 2017 to the 2014 Ultra drive then 2017 will have all the tracks you had with 2014. Do you have 2017 installer handy ?
Hi Pipeline,
The 2014 files are on C drive currently. { The actual physical 2014 ultra drive sent from PG went bad. So the files have been offloaded to another drive}
So if I just install 2017 over 2014 on C drive - im good to go?
