OP Keith from Oz Veteran Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 2,444 NSW Australia	I seem to remember that in earlier versions there was a checkbox option "Play When Selected", so the song would start as soon as you selected it (I think it was in "Preferences") I can't seem to find it in BIAB 2018. Can anyone please assist? Cheers, Keith

But I don’t recall one to make it play automatically. Not at a computer to check yet... Could you define what you mean by Select? BIAB 2024 Win Audiophile. It may have something to do with the fact that there are now 2 start buttons, one to regenerate the other to play current 'generation' BIAB for Windows Version 2019 (643) Windows 10 (1909)

It would be nice to be able to opt for "Play when Selected" from there. As Matt suggested, maybe a global setting. Wishlist perhaps? Cheers, Keith

User Video: Band-in-a-Box® + ChatGPT = Impressed the BOSS!

The Bob Doyle Media YouTube channel is known for demonstrating how you can creatively incorporate AI into your projects - from your song projects to avatar building to face swapping, and more!

His latest video, Convert MIDI Chords into AI Vocal Harmonies with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
