Noel's RealTracks spreadsheet, posted a couple of months ago, is a big help (Thanks, Noel!) Has anyone built a similar sheet for all of the BiaB styles? I started one back in the previous century, but never kept it up.
In Band-in-a-Box 2018's StyleMaker, if you click the Action button, then Copy List to Clipboard, a list of all the styles will be created, which can be copied and pasted into Excel, OpenOffice Calc, or any similar spreadsheet program.
Aha, thanks, Kent, now I've found it. When I opened the style list in Excel, I first wondered about the encryption of the styles time signatures. But this way I came across some very interesting styles, 15/16, 19/16 and so on, which I have never registered before. A nice extension would be to list the instruments used in the MIDI and RealStyles. I often look for a style with a certain instrumentation (e.g. with Fender Rhodes). Or can I filter this somewhere already?
On this occasion, I also noticed the following bug: When switching from my German to English language version the memos for most of styles remain in German (even after a complete rebuild of the style list). These memos are translated somewhat sloppily into German, so that the search for keywords in the memos sometimes finds nothing.
