Great collab! Super cool. Now, where the heck did I put those bell bottom jeans? I think Mother Goose would be very happy to hear this Great chops on the guitar and perfect vocal. Great job, gentlemen! Alan

Hello, Robert and Scott
Simple melody with only 3 notes (E, G, A) is very powerful. It is wonderful the contrast between Robert's vocal and Scott's guitar. Really good combination! You play a janken game in Canada too. We call "Rock Paper Scissors" "Goo Choki Pah" in Japan. Paper is the last in calling order. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.
Shigeki Adachi

What a tune! I'm loving this one - the groove, the guitar work, your vocals, the lyrics - it all comes together here. It flows magnificently, and has an almost epic feel to it. The sound is gigantic, and almost forces your attention. I can't help but imagine how great this would sound live. Great work and thanks for sharing Deryk, Thank you - I think Scott`s dueling guitars are at the heart of the "big" sound. Really glad you enjoyed our efforts. Robert Robert/Scott, excellent collaboration! Loved the lyrics and the guitar soloing. The insistent melody's stuck in my head now! John John, Yes the melody is very repetitive - I`m glad it made an impression.I appreciate your listen and positive comments, Robert This song was a really cool one. I really love the artist choices you made. Awesome job, thanks for sharing! Thank you, Ember!

Robert and Scott,
I seriously loved this! Full of energy and attitude and a very, very clever and creative use of the of the "Four and Twenty Blackbirds" nursery rhyme.
Robert... I've never heard you sound better!
Scott... your guitar playing (both of them) really sizzled!
Very entertaining in so many ways!
All the best, Noel

This is such a creative piece of music. Progressive Rock, Roxy Music and other 70s/80s influences. Good work as always!

Groovy!
love the phrasing, guitars rock mucho
cool song
great write
Kenny Thanks for your listen, Kenny - I agree Scott`s guitars are very good! Robert So damn hot and so damn cool! We've said it many times but your lyrics would lend themselves to stellar videos! "Actually I kind of wished I could swallow sandpaper or something to rough up my voice to get more of that attitude into the vocals." Johnny Winter wrote that he used to shout/scream into a pillow to roughen up his voice...if I recall correctly. You could try that and not disturb your spouse You guys OWN this style around here and it's well deserved. Sophisticated psychedelia it is. Fine write, vocals and the guitars (playing and tone). Kudos y'all! J&B J&B, I`d like to make video`s... maybe some day when I give up sleep! I remixed the vocals a little - no pillow screaming, though I like the idea (as an antidote to my choral training vocal warmups). Thanks for your listens and support for the Scott/Robert retro sound!

That is some impressive performances from you both in a genre that is not much heard anymore. This trippy psychedelic thing that you guys got going is even better than what was back in the day. Great write and Scott’s guitars are the perfect fit. Nice one, Tom

Shigeki Adachi Hi Shigeki, There`s no escaping your accurate hearing... yes, its pretty much a three chord song. I play the game with my son ( he`s really quick, but predictable!) which gave me that part of the song idea. Thanks for listening. Robert Robert and Scott,

All the best, Noel Noel, There`s a few more bells & whistles on the vocal than I usually add, which might be why I sound better! I`m glad you were entertained by our collab. Nice one, Tom Tom, I actually had no idea there were all these 1969 redux songs lurking in my head `til the first collab with Scott happened...just have to go with it until the mine is done I suppose.I can`t speak for Scott, but my contributions are fueled by nothing stronger than Earl Grey tea! Thanks for your listen and comments. Robert
