I have made a backing track for Niel Gow's Lament for the Death of His Second Wife and there are 2 notes in the introduction (so no chords) and I would like to change this if possible by either adding a couple of chords, or, I see it's possible to "nudge" chords or melody. Any help will be appreciated.
I've got BIAB UltraPak 2018 20 on Windows 10.

You can add one or more bars to the beginning of the song by going to where you want the bars inserted and then edit->insert bars, is that what you want?

If the notes are in the pickup measure (during the click-in, for example), then you can't put any chords there). You would instead have to make the pickup measure be measure #1 (after the count-in). You could have silence for the first two beats and then have chords on beats three and four:
| F. : F, G |
The "F." would play a rest (no sound) on beats one and two, and then an F chord on beat three and a G chord on beat four. If you wanted to hear the percussion on the first two beats, you could instead enter "F.d", which means to rest all instruments except the drum track.
Don't know if that helps any.
