Since so many of you post and listen there, is it "not-uncommon" for soundcloud to fail to deliver sound?
I've tried other streaming sites, and they are working, but with soundcloud, the player scrolls, but I hear nothing.

Hello Tangmo,
Not sure if this is what you are experiencing, but here is something I've noticed on soundcloud.
They have a pretty aggressive copyright filter, sometimes if a song is flagged for potential copyright infringement, the audio will be stripped out of the file.
This also used to happen in YouTube
C-sharp when you cross the street… or you’re going to B-flat.

Mikke is probably right but be sure to look at the volume control on the bottom right to make sure that it is either at zero or muted.
Whenever I get something stuck in the back of my throat, I dislodge it by drinking a beer.
It's called the Heineken Maneuver.

That did it, Mario. How did that get muted? I feel so...so...stupid. :-) I'm glad that was a simple fix. Don't feel stupid. I've done stupider things myself. Sometimes things that always have worked and when they don't we have a tendency to over look the obvious. At least I do!

LOL I once called the cable-tv company and asked why there was no signal... They then tried all kinds of things on their end... Turns out I had forgotten to put the antenna-cable in  Gotta love technology
