I upgraded and installed today on 2 computers and have the same problem on both of them.
The 32bit version runs just fine on bot computers.
Now, I am assuming that in order to run the 64bit version you have to launch bbw64.exe in the BB Directory.
On both computers I get the following message after the splash screen.
Range Check Error and on the top line of the error message box I get Band-in-a-Box - NONAME.SG1
Running Windows Pro build 1803 on both my HP Intel laptop and my ASUS AMD desktop. This OS is NOT the latest bug-filled version from MS, but the previous one.
Been working on and building computers since 1979 so I do know what to look for but there is always something new to learn.
Running bbw64.exe as Administrator and so on bla bla bla.
Anyone else have the same problem?

Just a thought ..did you run as administrator.

yes. a bit disappointed the biggest feature we have been waiting for does not work right out of the box. If it is not ready then dont sell it!!!!!!!

I did test the file associations feature and it seems to work OK.
When I ran the Associate File Types from the Utilities pull-down in the 32bit version, closed the program and double clicked on an SGU file, it opens in the 32bit version OK. I then opened up the 64bit version, did the Associate File Types from the Utilities pull-down, closed the program and then double click on the same SGU file, it starts the 64bit version but of course gives me the error message. I then re-opened up the 32bit version, re-associated the file types, closed the program and double clicked on the same SGU file and it again opens up in the 32bit version and runs just fine.
That part seems to work OK but it does not do me any good if I can go any further in the 64bit version.
You would think that if I can do these checks, PG Music testers should have also been able to do a lot of beta testing just to see if the darn thing would even get off the ground. Looks like they missed something as important as this again.
Oh well, I know they will get it fixed eventually. I can wait. After all I still have the old trusty 32bit version running on my state of the art system for 2019!

Same issue with the 64-bit client running on my Windows 10 1809 PC. 32-bit runs fine. I'm attempting to run a Focusrite Saffire LiquidMix 56 using the ASIO drivers. This configuration works fine for 64-bit versions of Tracktion Waveform 9 and Cakewalk Sonar (the current BandLab version).

sorry to be so ignorant but with the 2019 install does one get the option to run either 32 bit or 64 bit? if so that would allow me to use my forte and edirol soft synths and then experiment with soundfonts in the 64 bit version until i got one i liked
assuming the 64 bit version works..................

assuming the 64 bit version works.................. Yes. The 32 bit version appears to be the default on the desktop shortcut. You have to change the shortcut from bbw to bbw64 to run the 64 bit version.

Can't get mine to load a song without the error message even after clearing the original error message.

What does support say about this ?. No tech support on weekends I will say the vst looks really promising inside of ableton live.
