Hallo,
nachdem es nun alles mit dem Gesang zu Midi aufnehmen funktioniert, habe ich mich ans Aufnehmen mit meinem Keyboard gewagt (sonst habe ich die Noten per Tastatur v. PC eingegeben). Ich weiß jetzt nicht, wie ich
1. Die Begleitung komplett in BiaB erstmal weg bekomme und
2. Wie muss ich das einstellen? Latenz bzw. DXi um das Aufgenommene Midi auch entsprechend abhören zu können.
Kann jemand aus dem Forum helfen??

Klicke auf das Feld, in dem der aktuelle Style genannt ist und entferne das Häkchen bei 'Style ist aktiviert'. Die Begleitung wird dann deaktiviert und ein x erscheint vor dem angezeigten Style Namen.

Für DXi zum Beispiel VSC DXi einstellen. Für die Latenzzeit am besten die Empfehlung des entsprechenden Dialogs einstellen.

Hallo Martin, vielen Dank für die Infos. Hat funktioniert.  Allerdings bekomme ich, wenn ich die Latenzzeit automatisch einstellen lassen möchte folgende Meldung: "Sie verwenden derzeit DXI Synths. Die Latenzzeit wird von BB automatisch für DXI gesetzt (um die Autio Latenzzeit anzugleichen) daher ist keine Latenzzeiteinstellung notwendig". Das klingt zwar gut, aber wenn ich nun auf meinem Keyboard ein Lied einspiele, "Take behalten", unter ".MID" speichere und dann abhören möchte durch "Öffnen Midi-Datei", mir die Melodiespur mit den - von mir geschielten - Noten ansehe und abspielen lasse (Begleitung ist immer noch ausgeschaltet, weil ich zunächst nur "meine Noten" hören möchte) höre ich nichts. Wenn ich die Begleitung einschalte, höre ich meine gespielten Noten nichts raus. Nur den Style. Könntest du mir hier evtl. noch sagen, wie ich es richtig machen muss? Danke! LG Jutta

Hallo Jutta,
stelle zunächst einmal sicher, dass die Midi Informationen Deines Keyboards korrekt überspielt wurden. Haben die Noten, die Du im Notationsfenster siehst, alle vernünftige Werte bezüglich 'velocity' und 'duration'? Noten etwa mit 'velocity' Null können nicht gehört werden.
Als nächstes überprüfst Du die Kanalnummer, unter der die Noten in der Melodiespur abgelegt sind. Der Soft Synth (also etwa VSC DXi) muss diesem Kanal ein Instrument zugewiesen haben. Üblicherweise ist das problemlos der Fall; ich hatte jedoch gelegentlich eben diesen Effekt -> kein zugewiesenes Instrument und daher Silence im Output des entsprechenden Kanals oder eben der entsprechenden Spur. Vielleicht funktioniert es nach diesen Querchecks - viel Glück.

Hey Martin, vielen Dank für die rasche Info. Also die Notenwerte sind in der Melodiespur erkennbar und C-Dur ist auch angegeben. Ich verstehe jetzt nicht ganz, wo ich das mit dem Kanal, also auf welchem Kanal die Melodiespur sich befindet, sehen kann. Ich öffne die Notation, veränderbare Notation, aktiviere das "M", eben für die Melodiespur, und sehe die Noten. Wenn ich dann auf "start" klicke höre ich normalerweise was (wenn ich bereits vorhandene Midi's von meiner Festplatte in BiaB lade und dort abhöre. Die kommen dann aber nicht vom Keyboard). Dein Tipp könnte also stimmen  mit dem Kanal. Aber ich weiß nicht wie ich das rausfinden kann. Wäre hier für eine kurze Info noch sehr dankbar. LG Jutta

Hallo Jutta,
wenn du im editierbaren Notationsmodus mit der rechten Maustaste auf eine Note klickst, erscheint ein Kontextmenü, in dem Du den obersten Eintrag 'Noten editieren...' auswählst. Es erscheint dann ein Dialog mit Einstellungen für die angeklickte Note mit Infos zu -> Kanal, Position, Note, Velocity, Länge und einigen anderen Infos. Am besten klickst Du in diesem Dialog einmal auf den 'Hilfe'-Knopf und machst Dich vertraut mit den jeweiligen Einstellungen.
Wichig sind hier die Werte zu Kanal, Velocity und Länge. Der Wert bei 'Kanal' zeigt Dir die Kanalnummer an, auf der diese Note beim Abspielen (Play) an den Midi Generator gesendet wird. Noten in der Melodiespur liegen bei BB üblicherweise auf Kanal 4 (dieser Werte kann bei Bedarf geändert werden). Vermutlich siehst Du also in diesem Dialog eine '4' im Feld 'Kanal'. Jetzt klickst Du in der Wekzeugleiste auf den Knopf 'DXi (Synth)'. Im sich öffnenden Dialog zu den VST/DirectX Instrumente Plugins schaust Du nach, ob bei Kanal 4 ein Instrument eingetragen ist. Im Edirol VSC DXi sind die Kanäle in einer Spalte 'Part' aufgelistet. Mit den Einstellungen kannst Du auch ein wenig herumspielen - das gibt Dir zusätzliche Sicherheit bei dem, was da so alles passiert.
Die Velocity und Länge einer Note kannst Du im vorherigen Noten-Edit Dialog ablesen und auch editieren. Bei Velocity sollte ein Wert deutlich gößer als Null stehen, wie etwa 90. Werte für die Länge einer Note sollten ebenfalls größer als Null sein. Die Werte für Velocity und Länge können auch grafisch im 'Staff Roll Modus' des Notenfensters abgelesen werden. Die Größe der Werte werden bei diesem Modus mit entsprechend langen senkrechten und horizontalen Strichen dargestellt. Die Länge der Striche sollte jeweils deutlich größer als Null sein. Im Staff Roll Modus kann man die jeweiligen Werte mit der rechten Maustaste bei Bedarf grafisch verändern.
Schaue Dir auch einmal die Noten in anderen Spuren an, wie etwa der Gitarren- oder der Bass-Spur. Diese Noten hörst Du ja. Du siehst daran, wie die Werte der Noten auf der Melodiespur in etwa aussehen sollten, damit Du die Noten der Melodiespur hörst.

Hallo Martin, ups, da habe ich aber noch viel zu lernen.  Danke für die ausführliche Anleitung. Also der Kanal lautet 1 und Velosity im Schnitt 46. Wenn ich in diese Spalte "Part" (DXI / VST) schaue und auf meinem Keyboard spiele macht sich jedoch auf Kanal 5 (auch nicht 4) etwas bemerkbar  . Wenn ich in Bass, oder Gitarre sehe, stehen dort auch ganz andere Kanäle, als wie sich die Kanäle in diesem DXI bemerkbar machen. Vielleicht muss ich für die Arbeit "Aufnehmen mit dem Keyboard" auch erst einmal überhaupt was einstellen. (?)Naja, ich arbeite zwar auch mit diesem dicken Schinken von Handbuch, aber - ganz ehrlich - sooo gut steht da leider nicht viel drin beschrieben (oder ich finde es nicht). Werde mir das Buch noch mal in Ruhe zur Hand nehmen und mal durchblättern, ob ich etwas finden kann, wo drin steht, ob bzw. wie ich meinem Computer bzw. BB sagen kann, dass ich mit meinem Keyboard jetzt in dem jeweiligen Kanal spiele und das dort auch aufgenommen werden soll und ich es von dort auch später abspielen lassen möchte. Wenn du noch irgendeine hilfreiche Info für mich hast, wäre ich dir sehr dankbar, ansonsten war dein "heißer" Tipp mit dem Kanal für mich schon viel wert. Da weiß ich wenigstens, womit ich mich erstmal weiter befassen sollte. Vielen Dank! LG Jutta

Hallo Jutta,
ich habe eben nochmal nachgeschaut -> der Kanal 5 auf der Melodiespur macht Sinn. Standardmäßig sind bei BB folgende Voreinstellungen aktiv: Pref/Kanäle -> Thru Kanal '5'. Wenn Du im Kanaldialog 'Midi Einstellungen' auf 'Optionen...' drückst, siehst Du, dass vermutlich folgende Kästchen mit einem Häkchen versehen sind: 'MIDI Thru' und 'Thru Kanal benutzen'. Die Eingangssignale des Keyboards werden auf den Thru Kanal geleitet, wenn diese Einstellungen vorliegen (die Hilfeknöpfe in den Dialogen Pref/Kanäle und Pref/Kanäle/Optionen... sind hier sehr informativ). Daher liegen eingespielte Noten auf Kanal 5, der hoffentlich in der Instrumentenleiste nicht stummgeschaltet ist. Wenn Du hingegen mit der Maus einige Noten in die Melodiespur hinein editierst, liegen diese Noten voreingestellt auf Kanal 4. Die jeweiligen Kanäle können im Dialog Pref/Kanäle eingesehen bzw. eingestellt werden.
Zur weiteren Diagnose Deines Problems bietet sich hier an, in der Tat einmal einige Noten zusätzlich zu den via Keyboard eingespielten Noten mit der Maus einzugeben. Sind diese mit der Maus eingegebenen Noten dann beim Abspielen hörbar? Im VST DXi müssen für diese Kanäle in jedem Falle Instrument zugewiesen sein. Versuchsweise könntest Du auch einmal im Dialog Pref/Kanäle den Thru Kanal auf '4' setzen. Beim Abspielen müssten die eingespielten Noten dann genauso und über den gleichen Kanal zu hören sein, wie die Noten der Melodiespur aus mitgelieferten BB Songs - vorausgesetzt die 'Velocity und Längen Gymnastik' stimmt ...

Guten Morgen Martin, bei uns lacht die Sonne, hoffentlich bleibt es heute so schön. Vielen Dank für die Infos. Ich traue mich gar nicht zu sagen, was es tatsächlich gewesen ist. Ich hatte all deine vorgeschlagenen Punkte durchgearbeitet und alles war soweit auch richtig eingestellt (von PG). Dann schaute ich immer wieder auf "Thru" und irgendwie wußte ich, dass ich da den Fehler finden kann. Oben in der Leiste zwischen Audio und Solo fand ich dann den Begriff "Thru" und aktivierte ihn. Ich konnte es nicht fassen, aber ich hörte meine eingespielten Noten. Vielen, vielen Dank.  Ohne deine Hinweise wäre ich nicht drauf gekommen. Außerdem habe ich gesehen, dass ich mich auch in weiterer Zukunft mit diesem "Pref" mal mehr befassen muss. Da kann man ja nun wirklich alles Mögliche einstellen. Hatte mich gestern Abend schon mit dem dicken Schinken ins Sofa gesetzt und angefangen zu studieren. War aber auch ein Fehler, weil ich heute Nacht nicht abschalten und damit nicht schlafen konnte.
