Hi there folks,

I was prompted to record and publish this quick video in honor of the exquisite new gospel vocal RTs released with BiaB 2019.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUBNZvNAjzk&feature=youtu.be

Hope this is of use to some of y'all.

Best wishes,

Deacon

Great little trick, Deacon!
I've been avoiding using strings because of those really bad transitions between chords, but this video gave me some hope for future productions.

Thanks a lot for doing this!

I want to thank everyone that I have not responded to individually for all the kind feedback!

P.S. I live in Israel, which is 7 hours (or more ahead) of many of you folks, so sometimes I'm asleep or spending the evening with my wife or kids when a lot of you guys are active here on the forums...

Fantastically useful and cool technique which I can see really opening some new doors for me and the software. And really well explained and demonstarted. You would be a great BIAB tutor.

Thanks Lingyia,

I'm glad this has been enjoyed and appreciated.

Stay tuned, because I get the sense that the next "hack" video (that I hope to post by the end of this weekend) will really blow a lot of folks away!

after trying this technique, I ran into a problem when I tried saving the generated Medley track as a Wav file to use in my Cakewalk DAW... BiaB only wanted to save it as a "type W" file..?
Where can I find more info on using the Medley feature in the Realtracks picker page?

Hi bloc-head,

Did you try saving the file to WAV via the drop-station as demonstrated here?

So to clarify; my video specifically addresses "section-based" RTs that are comprised of of several (for the most part) monophonic instruments (e.g. horns, string instruments) when working in tandem. As for other RTs, the quality definitely varies in that respect.

For curiosity's sake, I'm interested in knowing what specific RTs you are having issues with, and what progressions you are playing them over (if you don't mind sharing this info).
