I have the 2018Pluspak(was calledthe 2017Ultra the year before)and want to buy my 2019.But which one?
AFAIK I have ALL the up to now available RTs and RDs and Extras1-5.Do I simply need to buy the $99 Pluspak one to get the new RTs?Are there no new MSTs or Midi styles in 2019 that Id miss out on?
Finally why is there a Ultrapak at $149 that seems to be the same content(for a User who already HAS 2018)as the $99 one?

Hello Wendy,
Yes if I read you correctly it is the $99 Plus pak that will take you up to date, you should be able to download that easily enough with a fibre connection.
As regards the $149 you mention I believe it has all the Realracks and content on it, whereas your $99 Plus pak will only have the newest Realtracks.
Of course there is the bonus paks as well at $49 if you want even more.

For me the difference is...for the extra $50 I get a new hard drive with all RealTracks. Yes, I already have all of the older ones but if I ever have to reinstall it is easier to do it from the one new drive that from several years of update CDs.

It'll be download for me.Any imports would get taxed.When i look at the Order page it says I have to have had 2018 ULTRA in order for it to work??!! Can that be right? AFAIK my 2018 Plus WAS the 2018 nane for the old 2017 Ultra.
Still confused.

WendyM, I am in the same situation as you... confused about what to buy. I think it is the $99 pluspak, but I also want to buy the 49-pack and I cannot find that pack on the shopping-pages. I read somewhere that it costs $49, but where to order it? And is that the right combination to buy for us who has the Ultra-pak?

Hi, When i look at the Order page it says I have to have had 2018 ULTRA in order for it to work??!! Can that be right? The PlusPAK ($99) will give you the NEW content since last year. You can download it (~8 GB) or have it shipped on a USB 3 flash drive (or DVD if you prefer). If you had the 2018 UltraPAK, then the PlusPAK is a great option. This will also work if you had a previous year's UltraPAK and got the PlusPAK upgrade last year. You can install right over top of your existing version. If what you have currently is a 2018 Pro or MegaPAK version (not an UltraPAK), then the PlusPAK is not the best option, since you would be missing alot of older RealTracks - in this case a better option is the UltraPAK upgrade. The UltraPAK is shipped on a USB 3.0 hard drive. I think it is the $99 pluspak, but I also want to buy the 49-pack and I cannot find that pack on the shopping-pages. The Bonus 49-PAK ($49) is offered to you automatically when you add a Band-in-a-Box product to your shopping cart. Yes, that (PlusPAK + 49PAK) is a great option if you have the 2018 UltraPAK, and will get you up-to-date with all available RealTracks etc. If you want absolutely everything new that we have, add Xtra Styles PAK 6 (160 RealStyles that use existing RealTracks, $29).

What Andrew said, for less than $190 you can be FULLY up to date if you have bought the UltraPak in the past. I have done this for the last 2 years and love it, tho I will more than likely get a full version next year to have another HDD, like JohnJohnJohn said.
The newer cases supplied with the drives make great external portable HDD. I have 2 now that have 2TB HDD in them for file transfers that work great! LOL

That way the peer-to-peer users will reduce their server system load for downloads because of sharing ... Guess only that PG has to organize some protective shield against hackers. I saw other hacked PG stuff posted once like BIAB 2016 .... F
