Import audio / ACW is not working anymore with 2019. it doesn't import anything. It has always worked with 2018.
Reinstalling 2018. Honestly, I'm very disappointed with 2019, too many bugs and things not working as they should.

Give some more information please? It may be something we can help you get fixed. There are two ACW's in BIAB now and they operate a bit differently. Which ACW are you having issue with or is it both?
BIAB 2025:RB 2025, Latest builds: Dell Optiplex 7040 Desktop; Windows-10-64 bit, Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz CPU and 16 GB Ram Memory.

Using 2019 64 bits, last update:
1. launch BIAB
2. Audio > Import Audio > Select a mp3 file > OK
3. The Program show a progress bar, a convert sample rate progress bar, and then ask if I want to import the file in Stero / convert to Mono
4. Click on YES
5. The AUDIO channel on the mixer is in grey, showing that the audio track is empty.
6. Click PLAY > There's no AUDIO track. Nothing was imported.
7. If I repeat steps 2 & 3 > "Audio not found" error message
Using 2018:
1. Repeat steps 1-4
2. Audio tracks is imported and plays correctly, as expected.
Does import audio work for you in 2019?
PS: Since the first step for ACW (both versions) is importing an audio file, none of them (the new ACW introduced in 2018 and the old one, wich, btw, shouldn't be there if the new one is working properly, to avoid confusion) are working at all in 2019, since the program seems unable to import audio.

I followed your instructions exactly (thanks for posting those, it really helped) and import audio worked. Once it was imported, I was also able to use "Audio | Launch Audio Chord Wizard" with the file on the audio track.
Do both 2018 and 2019 have the same audio/MIDI driver settings on your computer?

I have the same results as Noel regarding initially importing audio. However, when I tested importing additional audio snippets either to merge or overwrite existing audio, I go the same results as Cerio at that time, including the "Audio not found" message.

Thanks, cerio. Have you tried setting BIAB 2019 to using MME as the audio driver to see if that makes a difference? That's what I have set up. Last year, in the early days of the 2018 release, WAS caused a number of issues that seemed to be resolved as the year passed. There were definitely hiccoughs to start with, though, that were solved by using MME. (I don't know if that's the case this year but it's something that I'd try.) Regards, Noel

Thanks very much for responding, Noel.
Using MME in 2019 64b doesn't solve the problem.
I think it has nothing to do with the audio driver. You can see there's something wrong even without any audio process involved, just after "importing" any mp3, the "Audio" label on the mixer should be orange, but that doesn't happen.

Hi all I am new to the forum but going to the 32 bit version allowed me to import audio (wav) file without issues but the 64 bit version does not work.
It drove me crazy because I started with the 32 bit and then went to the 64 bit and started having problems.
I appreciate the tip--saved me a lot of grief:-)

Is anyone from PG Music reading this, and if so, can they please comment? I was just about to buy BIAB 2019 but then I read this post. Audio import is crucial for me, and 64 bit is the reason to upgarde. If 64 bit won't import audio, no can do.

Yes you're right, I've tried importing several mp3 to 2019 64 bits, some worked, some not. I've just send an email to support with a couple of examples. Thanks.

The imported audio file path and file name cannot contain Chinese. Otherwise, the error is reported. Please fix it. i do not understand english i use google translation
