Hi folks,
I upgraded to BiaB 2019 (UltraPak) earlier this month. Just now installed the 609 patch, so I'm up to date.
Anyway, I've been playing around with different styles set to a progression I'm working on, and suddenly I've got a couple of MIDI voices that are stuck on, but only when BiaB is playing. So I went to MIDI/Panic Shut Off All MIDI Notes -- and it didn't do any good. When I dumped that song and called up another one, the couple of stuck MIDI notes are still there, but only when BiaB is playing.
I ended up exiting BiaB then rebooting it to get rid of them, but it would be nice if there were a more elegant way to get it to shut up.
So like the title of this post sez -- any other more industrial strength way to kill the notes?

Michael,
I reported this to the developers a couple of days ago. Panic [F12] is the only what I've found to stop it.
For what it's worth, it only happens using BIAB 64-bit. I took the song that I was working on in BIAB 32-bit and it's played fine ever since. So for this song, because it uses a MIDI melody, I'm continuing to work in BIAB 32-bit.
Maybe build 610 will address this issue. Peter Gannon has mentioned, in another thread, that it will be released on Monday.
Regards, Noel

Regards, Noel i had this happen as well and was able to stop it by muting and unmuting tracks. Seemed to be the guitar track most often

Thanks for the replies, guys. After I posted my query, I was annoyed to find that it wanted to hang MIDI notes on everything I played. But then I discovered that if I repeatedly hit F12, sometimes as much as a half-dozen times, it would finally shut up. So I dunno, maybe that's worth mentioning to the PG folks as well?
And yeah, I didn't mention it, but I'm running the 64-bit version.

That's an easy way to render Windows inoperable. The days of DOS are long gone.

Regards, Noel Have PG confirmed this is only a 64 bit problem? MIDI stuck-on has always been very intermittent. It has only happened to me once but I running 32 bit and F12 didn't work. This is an important issue for me and F12 has to work every time with just one press. I even have a foot switch programmed to send F12 with one press while I am performing. Tony

I still get occasional stuck notes that F12 won't stop. I have to go into the TTS-1 interface and hit the panic button there to turn them off. Usually happens when I stop a song in mid playback while it is holding a long note.
It was worse when 2019 first came out, but still seeing it a little.
