Seasons greeting all.
As a Christmas gift to myself I have taken advantage of the special pricing and purchased BiaB 2019 Ultra upgrade and am not sure that it has installed correctly.
When I run Reaper and open the VST it opens and I can load the .SGU file for one of our songs and generate the tracks which is pretty much what I expected.
However when I open the BiaB app the banner and about both show that it is 2018 Ultra with the most recent 2018 patch, not 2019 Ultra and current patch level.
When I ran it for the first time after upgrade it didn't request the new serial and when I tried to apply it, the dialog box advised that BiaB was already licenced on this computer.
Maybe a written or video description of the upgrade process is long overdue, I have not been able to find one.
Another for my wish list is the ability to render the drums as a MIDI track so that I can have separate tracks for each piece of the kit, when I try to generate the track as a MIDI it says it can't generate MIDI for a track where audio already exists. I'd like to be able to change the individual pieces ( kick / snare / crash ) rather than the whole kit in places to improve the dynamics of the mix

I'm sorry you're having trouble. I'm speculating that you did install BIAB 2019, or the VST Plugin wouldn't have loaded. Yet it seems you are loading 2018. Can you tell us how you load BIAB? Desktop icon, Taskbar Shortcut, Windows app listing in the Start button, or how?
FYI, the existing BIAB shortcut on the Taskbar loads the 32-bit version of BIAB 2019.
If you right-click on a desktop icon and select Properties, make sure it goes to /BB/bbw64.exe if you want to run the 64-bit version of BIAB 2019. And if you have updated to any of the most recent builds, 610 is the latest at the moment, it will ask if you want desktop icons.
Finally, tell us what steps you took in the install. Are you running BIAB from the supplied USB drive or did you load it onto an existing BIAB installation on an internal hard drive?Yes, I know these questions are annoying, but we'll get it figured out. If nothing else, the Chat for Support should reopen on Monday (and I see they are there right now).

Bingo, updated the launch details on the desktop and we have liftoff, just need to update to 610 it's at 608 Thanks for your prompt help
