Hi guys!! I am so happy this forum exists! I really hope you can help me. I have Band in a Box 2009, and I am trying to open it on Windows 7. I keep getting an error message that says Unable to load DLL C:\bb\bbw.exe ->comctl32.dll. Do you guys have any ideas why this might be happening? Thank you so much in advance!!

Hi Cheese,
I had some weird issues when first using BIAB with Win 7. Matt Finley helped me out alot by giving me this advice>
Uninstall BIAB.
Before reinstalling>Right click on the installer and go to the "Compatability" tab.
Make sure "Windows XP" and Run as Administrator" are checked.
Then install. In most cases this should do it.

Either you have installed a program which has its own, older version of comctl32.dll which is not compatible with Windows 7, and has replaced the version in the Windows folder or BIAB has installed something which has a right-click option (context menu) which specifically calls upon an older version of comctl32.dll. Be sure you are using the latest version of BIAB.
