hallo zusammen,
kann mir jemand bitte sagen wo die 10600 songs sein sollen?
nach der neuinstallation klicke ich das rebuilt button, jedoch ist der ordner mit "songs" leer, ergo kann auch nichts generiert werden.
was mache ich falsch?

Hallo Sky. Herzlich willkommen im Forum! Zunächst ist ein Missverständnis aufzuklären: Die Angabe "mehr als 10.600 Songs" bezieht sich nicht auf mitgelieferte Song-Dateien, sondern auf die im Programm enthaltenen Liste von Songtiteln. Du kannst aus dieser Liste einen Song auswählen und Band in Box wird dir eine Reihe von Style-Dateien anbieten, die eine diesem Song entsprechende "Band" bereitstellt, die dann mit den Akkorden, die du in Band in a Box eingibst, den Song im passenden Stil begleitet. Grundsätzlich ist es so, dass mit Band in a Box aus lizenzrechtlichen Gründen nur einige, eher als Demo für die MIDI-Styles gedachten Songs mitgeliefert werden. In großer Zahl (je nach Programmpaket mehrere Tausend) enthalten sind aber Style-Dateien. Welche Version und welches Programmpaket von Band in a Box hast du erworben? Die mit dem Programm installierten Demo-Songs befinden sich (mal unterstellt du hast die Version 2019)in den Ordnern \bb\Songs and Lessons, \bb\Demos\MIDI und \bb\Demos\RealTracks. Du kannst im SongPicker \bb als neuen Home-Folder anwählen und dann das Rebuild starten, dann werden auch die Demo-Songs alle angezeigt. Deine Frage nach fertigen Song-Dateien von bekannten Liedern, Pop-Songs, Klassischer Musik und Jazzstandards lässt sich aber dennoch in deinem Sinn beantworten: Es gibt eine sehr lebhafte Community, die tatsächlich viele tausend Songs inkl. Melodie als Band in a Box Files im Netz bereitstellt. Eine Google-Suche wird dich schnell zu verschiedenen Quellen führen (suche zum Beipiel in groups.yahoo.com nach Band-in-a-Box) . Du solltest beachten, dass das bei nicht urheberechtsfreier Musik rechtlich nicht unproblematisch ist, allerdings eher für den jeweiligen Anbieter. Es gibt darüber hinaus auch kommerzielle Anbieter wie http://www.nortonmusic.com die Songs und Realbooks als Chord-Files (ohne Medodie) anbieten.

Hallo Brille, ein superdankeschön für deine lange Erklärung! :))) Habe mir die "2019-Megapack" Version gekauft. Um es mit Cubase Pro zusammen zu nutzen. Kannte BiaB vorher nicht, daher kommen solche Fragen von mir. Da die Version leider nur auf englisch verfügbar war, macht es das Einarbeiten nicht einfacher... Das mit den Musikrechten ist soweit klar, ich stelle mir BiaB auch nur als Begleithilfe oder als Starthilfe vor, die Melodien sollen von mir kommen. Ich will ja Musik machen  Da der Ordner Biab/Songs nach der Installation leer war, dachte ich das ich was vergessen haben muss was zu installieren. Aber nach deiner Beschreibung weiß ich soweit bescheid. Vielen Dank nochmal, werde mich gleich nochmal dran machen. VG Sky

na, dann viel Erfolg und vor allem Spaß mit Band in a Box. Es ist wirklich ein ungewöhliches und cooles Programm, auch wenn die Bedienung hier und da manchmal etwas holprig ist.
Und noch was: Ein deutsches Sprachpaket steht hier im Forum üblicherweise so ab März oder April bereit, damit kannst du dann das Programm auch in Deutsch nutzen und du bekommst damit auch ein umfangreiches deutsches Handbuch als PDF.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track.
