2018 User Showcase Awards.... Congratulations to....

Over the past year (2018), we've had over 1,200 new original compositions posted to the User Showcase. Wow! Now over 7,000 songs in the Showcase! Many thanks to all who have contributed.

Compared with the previous year, there were 12% more songs posted (1200), 24% more posts in total (26,880), and 16% more people who posted songs (164)! There were contributions from 25 countries... Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jersey Channel Is, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, and USA.

We'd like to thank and recognize these amazing contributions that people have made!

So we announce the "Top 40" User Showcase Awards...to the top 43 contributors of 2018 – a free Band-in-a-Box 2019 UltraPAK for Windows (including the 49 PAK bonus)

We've reviewed the contributions from Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2018, and have based the results on a combination of the following criteria:

- great compositions/arrangements/productions
- use lots of Band-in-a-Box or RealBand (RealTracks or MIDI)
- most contributions
- other contribution to the forum (songwriting tips etc.)
- haven't won before (not an absolute requirement)
- haven't already got a free version from beta testing etc.

To collect your award, please contact marketing@pgmusic.com (by Feb 28, 2019) (attn: Callie), and provide details of where you want it to be sent. (don't forget to let her know your Forum name)

If you've already purchased 2019, we will refund your purchase price. If you already have BB 2019 via another means (beta testing etc.), then you can designate "someone else" to receive it (just send that info privately in your email).

If you're a Mac user, you can either get 2018 UltraPak or request a raincheck for the 2019 Mac UltraPak when it comes out.

First of all, thank you! This is quite a generous gift.

Generally PG forum members are very polite and respectful. I am trying my best to keep the spirit alive too. Kindly do not take this as insult of any kind. If it is possible, I would like to donate my prize share to contribute to development of BIAB. Specifically to further Mixer or/and GUI development. I know it is a drop in the sea, but I rather support the progress, than take it away.

My biggest prize was meeting some fantastic members who helped me with technical issues, creativity, language and even collaborated with me on a few tunes.

I recognize that this year update was a major step forward in the right direction. Please do not stop! Thank you.

The Showcase did seem to Explode! this year. More posters, more songs. A flurry of activity. And for the most part, a great group of caring, involved folks...

As others have said, this is such an AMAZING thing for a company to do!!

HUGE thanks to the entire crew at PG Music - for what you do and the incredible software you have created (you coders do not get the credit you deserve!!!). It has changed ALL of our lives. I sincerely hope that the varying productions posted in the Showcase encourage prospective customers to purchase Band-In-A-Box and jump on board... it is THE most worthwhile music software available anywhere.
