Chiedo ad un esperto: ma come si scrivono le note?

Salve Carlo e benvenuto.
Dando per scontato che la tua domanda si riferisca all’inserimento manuale, nota per nota, provo a indicarti i passaggi principali, non è proprio semplice da spiegare in un post, spero di riuscire a non essere troppo complicato anche se inevitabilmente dovrò essere lungo!
Tasti di scelta rapida Ctrl W per aprire la finestra di notazione.
Appena sopra il rigo musicale nell’area più a sinistra dello schermo puoi notare una serie di piccole icone, la quarta e la quinta contando da sinistra raffigurano due linee parallele che simboleggiano il rigo musicale, puoi notare che la quinta icona però contiene anche delle linee verticali tratteggiate, indicano la possibilità di entrare nel Modo di notazione editabile (se ci fermi sopra il cursore del Mouse ti apparirà un piccolo Pop-up titolato proprio Editable Notation Mode).
Prova a cliccare su entrambe queste piccole icone e vedrai la differenza.
Nel Pannello Preferences clicca sul pulsante Notation, nella nuova scheda che si aprirà puoi aggiungere o togliere il segno di spunta nella casellina Triplet resolution (Swing) per cambiare la risoluzione all’interno delle misure. Se confronti l’area del pentagramma con o senza quel segno di spunta noterai che le righe tratteggiate che attraversano perpendicolarmente il rigo sono a gruppi di 3 o 4 in relazione all’impostazione appena nominata. Questo ti permetterà di inserire note adeguate in base alla risoluzione da te scelta.
Ricorda che ci sarà sempre un gruppo di linee tratteggiate per ogni movimento della misura.
Per inserire una nota è sufficiente un clic in un punto qualsiasi del rigo, un clic col destro del mouse sulla nota appena inserita apre un menu contestuale grazie al quale, cliccando sulla riga Edit Note si apre un’ulteriore scheda dov’è possibile modificare molti dettagli della nota inserita, consentendo una elevata precisione in riguardo alla sua altezza, durata e posizione nello spazio temporale dell’arrangiamento.
Tieni presente comunque alcuni importanti particolari:
1) puoi scrivere manualmente le tue note solo nelle tracce melodia e solista;
2) una volta inserita anche una sola nota congela la traccia altrimenti alla prima elaborazione dell’arrangiamento il programma ti cancella tutto. Nel riquadro Mixer (abitualmente nella parte alta destra dello schermo, altrimenti attivalo con l’apposito menu) puoi notare che ogni traccia possiede 3 pulsantini quadrati (M, S, *), cliccando sull’asterisco esso cambia colore indicandoti che la traccia è stata congelata.
3) quasi tutto in BiaB può essere eseguito in più di un modo, io ti ho indicato un percorso, ma non è l'unico.
