I tried to open up a file and I received a message "Band in a Box is not optimized for your MAC and needs to be updated". I pressed "OK" and proceeded to access the program. I then realized that the song(s) that I have created were either gone or I found partial sections of songs as I was creating them and saving them, but not the full songs. I think that the message has something to do with 64-bit processors. Does anyone know where I can search my MAC to find the full saved songs that I created?

Hi,
The message you receive ("Band in a Box is not optimized for your MAC and needs to be updated") is a generic message that is displayed the first time a 32 bit app is started on OSX (since the machine was last restarted). This message started to occur in april 2018 on OSX 10.13 (High Sierra). It is only an informational message, informing you that the app is 32bit and that OSX will drop support for 32bit apps soon (most likely in next version).
Hence it should currently not prevent BIAB from working correctly (even though it will most likely do after the next OSX update). I run BIAB successfully on multiple macs, one of them running 10.14.4.
Hence what you experience is (to my understanding) not related that information message. I would suggest you contact PG Music support, they can usually resolve most issues quickly.

As Bjorn suggests, the system message has nothing to do with any problems you may experience. It will display the first time you run any 32 bit application in High Sierra or Mojave.
If you saw them already in OS 10.13.x, you will see them again in 10.14.x with one difference: 32 bit Apple processes also display the message in Mojave—weird since the developer is Apple.
