due problemi: ho trascritto uno standard jazz su spartito con Finale 2009 ( melodia e accordi pezzo in 4/4) e poi l'ho esportato in fomato MIDI la prima battuta del pezzo è di un ottava soltanto: primo problema come faccio a dire a Biab che la prima battuta è un ottava? secondo problema: faccio l'import del file MIDI in Biab ( e non so come fare per importare la prima battuta) e poi vedo che gli accordi "importati" sono diversi da quelli scritti sulla partitura ... è perchè ho usato windows per scrivere la partitura ? non credo ... e allora perchè mi trovo in questa condizione?

Forse il modo più semplice per risolvere il problema è importare il file Midi, cancellare la prima battuta che tanto è solo di un ottavo (non un'ottava!) e riscriverla direttamente in BiaB. Non sarà una soluzione elegante dal punto di vista informatico, ma funziona.

ok grazie . . . per dire a Biab che la prima battuta è un ottavo (grazie per la correzione!) e tutto il resto in 4/4 come si fa?

Semplice. Imposta tutto il song con un banale tempo di quattro quarti e nella prima misura inserisci solo l'ottavo che t'interessa. Se già nella prima battuta prevedi che ci sia, oltre alla nota della melodia, anche un accordo, ricorda che puoi inserirlo solo con un valore minimo di un quarto, non di un ottavo.
La procedura, già spiegata in altro thread, prevede l'uso della virgola.

senti pensavo di aver risolto ... ma non c'è verso : non riesco a capire come ottenere, per un pezzo in 4/4, dicevo come dire a Biab che la prima battuta è "un solo quarto" considerato che "non accetta l'ottavo" mi spiego: c'è da qualche parte il modo di impostare la prima battuta in un solo quarto oppure come? in un normale programma per scrivere una partitura si va sulla prima battuta e "si dice al programma" questa battuta è di un quarto o di un ottavo o qualsiasi altro valore .... in Biab che tracciato ( nel senso di sequenza di comandi) devo usare ? se qualcuno mi risponde per favore fatelo in modo come se parlaste ad un bambino che deve imparare a parlare poichè di Biab conosco pochissimo p.s. divento matto per scrivere una semplicissima melodia, cioè per scrivere: prima battuta 1/8 altre battute in 4/4 dove c... o gli si dice che non voglio che mi metta lui le note in automatico da perdere veramente la testa!

Anche in questo programma.
Qui i cambi di tempo nelle battute si assegnano da qui:
1) Menu Modifica versione Inglese Edit
2) Imposta Tempo (Interv. di misure) versione Inglese Set Time Signature (range of bars)...
Nella pratica però non è così semplice perchè BiaB vede le cose a modo suo ed inserendo un "cambiamento" alla prima misura probabilmente ti ritrovi con altri problemi di più difficile soluzione.
Per cui ti sconsiglio questa prassi per la Battuta iniziale del brano, c'è una strada molto più banale (già suggerita da Gigim), cioè scrivere le note solo sull'ultimo quarto della misura.

Concordo pienamente con Seranto. Con una piccola prescisazione: se, come hai detto, devi inserire una nota da un ottavo, quando nella notazione ti compaiono le quattro serie di quattro barrette verticali tratteggiate, inserisci la tua nota nella terza barretta della quarta serie. Insomma, a metà dell'ultimo quarto. Vedrai che funziona.

Oddio ... un pò di dimestichezza col pentagramma ce l' ho ...
non ho dimestichezza con il pentagramma di Biab lo riconosco ....
cioè in che modo ragiona "il coso" ...
chiedo una precisazione le "stanghette" verticali a trattini o puntini quelle a gruppi di tre sono o rappresentano un quarto( se il tempo è in 4/4 ovviamente) si? è così ?
cioè sono terzine ( gruppi di tre note da cantare o suonare in una divisione di tempo pari)
cmq grazie e adesso provo a seguire accuratamente i consigli ...:-)))))
p.s. comincio a pensare di "aver acquistato" una vera follia ...
per favore ditemi cosa vuol dire il seg.

ARRIVATI A QUESTO PUNTO comincio a pensare di "essere in un brutto sogno"
e se qualcuno mi spiega perchè quando scrivo una nota immediatamente mi fa un "legatura" con la successiva o con la battuta successiva
sono veramente alla DISPERAZIONE

e l'opzione che si avvicina a quella da te indcata "Set Time Signature (range of bars)..." è
"Set Time Sig of Scrap ..." ...
MA "come si dice troppa grazia sant'antonio" nel mio Biab non la posso selezionare eppure è li scritta

questo menu nelle versioni per Windows appare con certezza dalla 2004 in poi, forse anche prima ma i miei ricordi per ora si fermano li.
Credo però di dover passare la mano sui problemi per i quali chiedi aiuto, dopo i primi dubbi sono andato a rileggermi gli altri post scritti da te ed ho scoperto che probabilmente possiedi la versione per Macintosh, io non la conosco e rischierei di darti consigli sbagliati o fuorvianti.
Un mio ragionamento che vale quanto vale, se si specificasse sempre all'inizio di ogni post versione di BiaB e piattaforma, magari eviteremmo malintesi, illusioni, ecc.
Ti auguro che qualcuno possa aiutarti più concretamente, ma nell'attesa che un utilizzatore della versione per Macintosh si faccia avanti, ti consiglio caldamente di dedicare del tempo alla lettura del manuale, è sempre tempo ben speso.
