By that I mean that I can definitely feel that there's a tender remembrance there that underlies the rest of the song. It's a nice mix of warm memories but of missing someone. Thanks for sharing. Nice backinga nd a well recorded vocal.(though you dip down on the 1st syllable at the beginning of each stanza. The only suggestion I'd make is to EQ the kick drum to take some of the modern aggression from it &/or change any compression on it - possibly tweak the attack.
