Loopmasters Loopcloud Free !! plugin. https://www.loopcloud.net/loopcloud-downloadLoopcloud is a sample browser that lets you audition millions of samples right within your DAW. But the service would be nothing without the plugin that goes with it. With the Loopcloud plugin loaded in your DAW, and the Loopcloud app open, the plugin tells the app vital information about your project, such as its tempo, and the DAW you’re using, and that allows Loopcloud to search for samples of the right tempo and automatically timestretch them. Loopcloud’s audio also gets sent through the plugin, so you can hear the results alongside your project. As of Loopcloud v4, the latest update, the Loopcloud plugin also has a MIDI keyboard display, and lets you play MIDI notes to trigger samples in the software, so you can audition drum sounds and pitch up your one shots to see if they’ll work in your track, before you even buy them.

I use Loopcloud all the time. It's a great tool if you use any kind of samples in your music. Great for organizing and auditioning different sounds in you project.

What daw do you use with it ?.

I use Cubase, but it should work with all of them. Loopcloud is its own separate program which communicates with your DAW via a VST plugin that comes with it. So just insert the Loopcloud VST into your session then open up the program and it will sync to your project tempo. You can audition sounds very easily to see what they will sound like with everything else you've already done. When you find something you want to use just drag and drop into a new track. Easy as that.
Once in a while I find certain samples won't automatically time streach to your tempo when imported, but you can just use your DAW to time streach to the correct size.
The newest version of Loopcloud has some really cool features including patterns to turn "one shot" samples into loops (great for drums) and the ability to edit loops right there while auditioning them.
It comes with a good selection of loops to get you started and they will add free loops to your library every week or so. The credits to purchase loops in the store is cheap. I think I spent $20 for 5000 credits about 6 months ago and still using them. Of coarse you can load any of your own samples in to the program also. As long as you make sure the tags are correct it can help you find what you need easily.

This is interesting. I see that you pay with points. How much in points is the typical loop?
Are the loops downloaded onto your hard drive or are they held in an online library?
What happens to purchased loops in you drop your account with them?

Jeff Jeff, the loops tend to be around 15 - 25 credits depending on what you are looking for. I'm not completely sure about where the files are kept that you buy but I think it may be on your computer. I haven't really dug into the technical side of it.
