kann man das deutsche Handbuch für Microsoft nicht auch mit dem MAC benutzen?

Es ist immer noch so, dass die Mac Version von der Windows Version abweicht. Es wird allerdings schon seit Jahren daran gearbeitet, die Versionen anzugleichen. Auch durch die unterschiedlichen Betriebssysteme (Sounderzeugung, Tastaurlayout, usw..) wird es immer Unterschiede geben.

Hallo Ingrid,
das Patch enthält auch das deutsche Handbuch und die Online-Hilfe als PDF, das wird unter Windows mit im BB-Ordner abgelegt. Das hilft dir jetzt natürlich nicht weiter, wenn du Band in a Box auf dem Mac einsetzt. Ich denke aber, es wird kein Problem sein, wenn du den Support (oder hier im Forum Ernst Leobacher) bittest, dir das PDF des deutschen Handbuchs zu mailen.

Hallo Ernst,
ich habe gerade die Band-in-a-box 2020 für Windows erworben.
Kann ich versuchen, das Handbuch 2019 für Windows zu installieren oder lasse ich das besser?
Das Setup warnt mich, dass das Upgrade ein älteres Built als das installierte beinhaltet.

Kann ich versuchen, das Handbuch 2019 für Windows zu installieren oder lasse ich das besser?
Es ist völlig problemlos möglich, die 2019 deutsche Sprachversion bei einer BiaB 2020 Version zu installieren. Die Sprachdateien modifizieren lediglich die Benutzeroberfläche und installieren eben deutschsprachige Hilfeversionen und Manuals. Lediglich die nach der 2019 Version entwickelten Funktionen können natürlich nicht berücksichtigt werden. Die entsprechenden Elemente der Benutzeroberfläche bleiben eben englischsprachig. Die bald zu erwartenden deutschsprachigen 2020 Dateien können später problemlos noch installiert werden. Willkommen im Forum und Frohe Ostern
