Buenas noches Carlos, acabo de adquirir Bandinabox 2020 en la version PRO, la he instaladao y el idioma de la aplicación está en Inglés (Obvio), el manual y la ayuda también.. por eso quisiera saber si la actualización manual de Español que tu pones funciona en la version 2020... o tengo que esperar a que PGMusic la ponga en su web... y en ese caso cuanto mas o menos crees que suelen tardar en hacerlo...

Hola Pedro, Bienvenido al foro
Felicitaciones y gracias por adquirir la versión 2020 de Band-in-a-Box, esperamos que la disfrutes y te sea util plenamente.
En cuanto a tu pregunta, el actualizador de lenguaje es un parche que al aplicarse no solo proporciona el manual en dicho idioma sino que añade los componentes necesarios traducidos a dicho idioma, tanto a nivel de interface de usuario y gráficas como de menús y ayuda.
Sin embargo al aplicar un parche de idioma de una versión anterior (en esta caso 2019) a una posterior (2020 en tu caso) todo lo referente a las nuevas características en el lenguaje a instalar (Español) de la nueva versión quedaran excluidas en la traducción y solo se dispondrá de la traducción de las características de la versión anterior (2019), mientras que las nuevas (2020) seguirán apareciendo en Inglés o incluso a veces algunas de dichas características pudieran no aparecer ni siquiera en el idioma original.
Si decides aplicar el parche de idioma notarás que el el instalador emitirá una advertencia de "actualizacion vieja sobre una nueva" quedando bajo la responsabilidad del usuario realizarla o no.
Mi recomendación en el caso de que decidas aplicar el parche es la de hacer un respaldo a tu carpeta de programa (generalmente C:\bb) sin tocar para nada el disco externo original.Puedes excluir de ese respaldo las carpetas correspondientes a RealTracks y RealDrums si dichas carpetas se encuentran dentro de la principal del programa.
Por el lado positivo podemos mencionar que al aplicar un parche de idioma desde una versión inmediata inferior en este caso 2019 a 2020, van a quedar traducidas una gran proporción de características básicas compartidas entre ambas versiones y aún las mas antiguas, mas que suficientes para operar el programa sin problema. Además la estructura del programa a nivel del idioma original (Inglés) no será alteradas en lo absoluto y dicho lenguaje podrá ser seleccionado de nuevo y usado sin problema alguno.
Sin embargo mi sugerencia es hacer comparaciones con la versión en inglés para chequear posibles omisiones de traducción relativas a la versión 2020 no presentes obviamente en la versión anterior.
Finalmente siempre podrás retornar al lenguaje original (Inglés) sin problema alguno y contarás al mismo tiempo con el manual en Español de la versión anterior, el cual en este caso es exactamente igual EXCEPTO para las nuevas características.
No tengo todavía una fecha para la emisión de la actualización de lenguaje para la version 2020 de Band-in-a-Box, pero siguiendo los patrones de años anteriores, recomendaría estar pendientes a partir del mes de Marzo en adelante, ya que apenas sea lanzada la publicaremos inmediatamente en este foro y podrás aplicarla sin problema, regularizando así de manera total y correcta la traducción al Español.

Muchísimas gracias por toda la información que me has facilitado. Voy a seguir tu consejo y hacer una copia de respaldo y aplicaré el parche de español, en espera de la actualización de idioma para la version 2020.

Buenos días Carlos, llevo unos días practicando con este fantástico programa y observo que cuando reproduzco cualquier tema que he armado las pistas suenan como mucho ruido de fondo... pero cuando se graba y lo escucho como fichero en mi Reaper.se oye limpio...A que se puede deber esto?.... Gracias por tu atención..

Hola, Carlos, muchas gracias por el manual pero acabo de descargármelo y es un fichero .exe y como ahora solo tengo Mac lo puedo abrir. ¿Me puedes ayudar?. Y otra consulta, si no es molestia:
Voy a comprar BIAB 2020 para Mac, probablemente la versión UltraPak, pero quisiera asegurarme de que funciona bien con versiones anteriores del sistema operativo OS. Es que he leído que está preparado para Catalina (10.15) pero tengo Sierra (10.12) y no me interesa actualizar. ¿Crees que funcionará sin problemas en Sierra? Gracias de nuevo y un saludo.

Hola Fermin, Me imagino que quisiste decir "No" lo puedo abrir El archivo de actualización de lenguaje solo funciona para la versión correspondiente, en este caso Windows, y es necesario tener el programa previamente instalado. Este archivo contiene el manual, las nuevas características de la versión y las traducciones internas dentro del programa, tales como menus, comandos y todas las partes del programa, ayudas en linea etc. y viene incluido con la compra de Band-in-a-Box. En cuanto a la pregunta de compatibilidad con Mac y Sierra, acabo de pasar la pregunta al personal de soporte para que me proporcionen una respuesta actualizada y precisa, la cual te haremos saber aquí mismo de inmediato al recibirla. Efectivamente, quería decir "NO lo puedo abrir". Creí que era un manual 'independiente' en PDF o algo así (tengo alguno anterior) y lo quería también para curiosear las características pero no es urgente, ya las estoy viendo en los vídeos de información en la web. En cuanto tenga claro que va bien en mi equipo, lo compraré. Gracias, Carlos por tu respuesta.

Efectivamente, tienes disponibles tres instalaciones autorizadas. La licencia te permite instalar Band-in-a-Box hasta en tres computadoras, aunque solo puedes usarlo en una sola al mismo tiempo.
