Mr. Cadoret...

Oh, boy, does your song, Secret Surf, ever bring back exciting memories of the 60’s musical culture. It fills my head with visions of mop-haired, bell-bottomed teenaged boys and longhaired, mini-dressed and -skirted teen girls wiggin’-out as they dance ‘The Frug’, ‘The Monkey’, and, of course, ‘The Swim’.

Secret Surf’s got that hard-drivin’, guitar-ific sound that was so characteristic of the ‘surf’ music genre. Your use of the Real Tracks, however, adds the slightly-sinister-but-fun sound that evokes comically evil, but nonetheless dashing undercover spies with black patches over their eyes!

It’s wild, man! It’s far-out! It’s ‘the most’! It’s wa-a-a-y out there, outta-sight, and everything’s gonna be all-right!

Thanks for big helping of musical fun, Mr. Cadoret.

LOREN (a.k.a. ‘bluage’)

Hi,
Just checked in on all your comments thanks very much.
It's easy when it comes easy I wrote and recorded this over a weekend (with the help of Band in a Box of course).
Getting the inspiration of a "Real Drummer and Real Bass player certainly helps.

Regards
Brian

Brian, great job here! The title perfect for this! Excellent choice of instruments and the break about 2/3 through was a good choice !! Thanks, Torrey

I love this. The fuzz tone lead guitar sounds great and I'm always a sucker for tremolo rhythm guitar.

Breaking your nose sounds like a really unpleasant experience that I hope to never go through. Really cool use of the SURFTIDE Style. Well done!

Cheers,
