When I bring over a file (.SGU) from BIAB to Real Band, the drum track does not import over with the other files. BIAB lists, (in mixer window) drum track as : Real Drums.Soul60sEv. Any idea to my problem ?

Exactly what do you mean by "bring over a file"? Did you actually open the file in RB or did use Import? If it was Import, just try opening the Biab file because RB can do that.

Hi jemc, This is just a guess but I suspect the problem is that BIAB automatically substituting Realdrums. Depending on your song and its tempo, this can happen. Realband does not do this (as far as I'm aware, at least). If you know the name of the drums, it's easier enough to load them into Realband. First load the song and then right click on any track, select "Generate" and then select "Select and Generate Realdrums"... select your drums and generate them. Regards, Noel

I get an error message when RealBand tries to load drum track . Cannot load drum style, because this folder does not exist: E:\bb\Drums\Soul60sEv^\Soul60sEv^3-ClsdHHtSnr,RdBncyBss [RealBand 2019.4.4, 11/12/2019 11:38:42 PM]
I am able to open BIAB .SGU file in the 2016 version and drum track opens. but will not open drum track in 2019 … I get the error message.
do I need to change the E:\bb to something else? Maybe F: that is is when my BIAB hard drive is located . If so, how can this be done ?
Any ideas ??? Thanks, JE

Ahh... If you're BIAB files are on your F: drive, you need to set the path for Realdrums (and possibly Realtracks). In Realband, this setting is found under the "Options" menu then "Prefences". Now select tab #7 (Song Generation) and click on the button labelled "Paths for BBW Realtracks, Realdrums".

Noel96.. I went to the Options setting and followed your directions. The settings were already set to F:drive but I resaved the settings and it seems to have fixed my problem ! Don't know how it was looking for an "E" drive...??? Thanks for your help !
