I just signed up also. I'm sure that the demand is very high so I will give it plenty of time.

Ya, it came as an email with a registration number. Then you have to log into "Waves Central" or install it and then log in so the app initiates the login and registration. I really don't have much hope for this app but will give it a try.

Every time I get one of their plugins it wipes out all the ones I already own both paid and free that are over a year old and I have to contact support. Their Waves Central is the biggest and slowest hassle of all the brands I own. And I'm not paying a yearly fee for stuff I've already paid for - yes I'm frustrated at the moment. What should have taken 15min tops has now turned into the usual hours of hassle trying to get my plugins back. Frankly I don't know why I go through it when the truth is that I have been disappointed by more of their plugins than I actually like and wind up using. Too many of them small, hard to read, can't resize and don't imo live up to the hype at all for my taste. I guess I've said enough. I know one thing I've certainly had enough hassle with them. It's just ridiculous to keep going through this much hassle. I'm thinking about just calling myself done with them and not buying any more or downloading any more freebies either once I get the ones I already own working again. End of rant.

So yeah I've got it. Haven't tried it. Doubt if it's worth the hassle of getting it. YMMV

Just once did all of my waves go away. After a couple of emails with Wave tech support I got them all back. Their support was very good at that time, about a year ago. I do like their plug-ins.

I DLed that latest free one but I have not decided if I really want or need it yet.

I’ve never had a problem with new plugins getting rid of old ones.

I’ve played with the new one a bit. Not sure if it will be useful or not, but the price was right wink

Just finished watching a YouTube video on it done by Warren Huart. He was doing some pretty cool things with it!

I kind of figure I haven't scratched to surface with the native plugins in studio one yet, so why confuse myself with more stuff.

Too bad it wasn't just a free plugin to DL, as seems to be the implication. I abandoned it after finding the Waves Central dongle was necessary.

That is so true Rob. I don't know why I do it - I don't use Studio One but Lord knows I have so many plugins that I've bought or got freebies - many I may have used once and forget about. It's like here's a new treat from the sample lady at Walmart and I can't resist the temptation to taste it even if I have to sneak over to the garbage can and spit it out. grin But you are right and I'm gonna do better this year and focus God willing.

No dongle needed here. You do have to register it but that is pretty standard. But other than that, I am afraid my music is far too tame for these distorted sounds.

Hey thanks for posting that Dave, whew made me feel a little better bout all my hassle - looks like some gritty and interesting sounds in there. Ya think that guy doing the vid was over the top loving it...LOL. Not over the moon here but I can already think of a couple of things I want to try it out on.

Hey Josie,

Yeah, he gets a little carried away for sure! I’ve watched a few of his videos, he is always like that.

I’m not over the moon with it either, I wouldn’t buy it based on what I saw. But for free I’ll definitely experiment with it a little.

It’s a shame you have so many problems with the waves central thing, I’m sure that must be incredibly frustrating. I follow the waves group over on facebook and you are not the only one having those kind of problems. I guess so far I have been lucky!

I said I would only come back for more downloads if they were giving them away. So here I am...

Just a heads up to say that Waves One Knob plugin is free today, Cyber Monday.

Same deal as the free Black Friday Berzerk plugin. Just submit your email and you should receive a download link and serial number within the hour.

Dan, I hope you and others enjoy your freebies. Don't take this wrong. Seeing that made me laugh - why? Because it seems I have come full circle with waves. I had a one knob freebie - one of the first freebies I got from them. It was never to be found again after losing it to a waves central update several years ago. It's true.
Welcome if you will...cue twilight zone music...LOL!

I got it, but being V11, it only works on Windows 10 so it won't work on my system with win 7.
