Without knowing too much about your setup, and presuming your internal hard drive contains the RealTracks and RealDrums files, can the actual BiaB installer program land everything where you need it to go?
I'm not sure that I would choose 'skip-overwite older files'. What if the updated files contained patches / updates / corrections?
With BiaB products, I always let later files replace earlier files.

I just run the installer every year I get the new version and install to \bb that I've been using for a dozen years. It takes a while but doing this gives the me latest updates of everything (including things that I might not know about).

Hi Videotrack: If you redirect the installer procedure to the right location BIAB behaves quite well, so all is in another place than c:/bb (a 256 GB SSD boot drive). Skip overwrite takes far more time, that's why, maybe i should do a verify later. Some corrections are no improvement, see below:
Noel: i am always messing around with updating, as i tend to edit particular RT-WAVs during the year, if there's some annoying false note, too loud drum or cymbal bang etc, and i can find the culprit.

I'm not aware of any in-built utility that is designed to do this.

Hi Bob, editing RT WAV files sometimes is necessary IMO. f.i. timing with rhythmic stuff, bong a gong, out of tune single notes, some times too obvious in a hold. That if you want to use them seriously in a mix.
