Hi all,
I'm not a musician but I'm trying to help my brother with the software.
We have an external sound module with loads of instruments a mixer and a pc with Band-in-a-box . when we load a midi file in the software how do we get it to use the sound module for the various instruments and not the internal one?
is there an interface required between the pc and the sound module/mixer?
We have other issues but one at a time.

The sound module should plug into the computer by either a USB cord or by the old fashioned 5-pin midi plug. You should be able to select where your midi plays in the BIAB software under "MIDI setup". Hope that helps some. The output from the sound module will, of course, need to go to some amplifier and speakers to be heard.

What sound module do you have?
Brand/Manufacturer?
Model number?
Give some info about your PC also.
Brand, specs, etc,...
What operating system?
What version of BIAB?
Does the noise in your head bother me ?

What version of BIAB? Also do you want to just listen to your sound module or do you want to record those sounds? What do you have for a sound card, i.e. also called an audio interface? Are you using the one that came with your computer, probably called RealTek?
OK, a random thought;
Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?
