Hi! New guy here. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get my songs from my Mac to an ipad? I would like to set my ipad up as a player for backing tracks for gigs someday if they ever open the bars again. If someone could point me to a video or any step by step explanation I’d sure appreciate it. I’ve tried sound cloud but it doesn’t look like it could be used at gigs. Maybe I’m wrong and just not using it correctly. Oh and BTW I used to use BIAB when it first came out but haven’t used it since 2010 version. My band broke up and I figured what the heck I’ll try the one or two man band thing. Got time on my hands to do it now.

Hi Frank... the way I do it is to save the songs as mp3 then use Dropbox to add them to my iPad.... alternately you can just save the songs to iTunes then sync your iPad with your Mac... hope that helps:)

I don’t have a Mac but from a PC the easiest way is to use iTunes. I would imagine that would even be easier with a Mac,
Simply connect your iPad to a USB port on the PC using the charging cable. Tell the devices to trust one and other then pull the songs across by dropping the songs from the PC folder to the iPad music folder.
Maybe I’m wrong but that is how I go about it on a PC. Usually whilst I’m at it I also backup the iPad to the PC.

As one who gigs on an iPad, there are better playback apps than iTunes. You can create a custom play, touch the title and the song just plays. Quicker and less cumbersome than iTunes.
If you need suggestions, I can recommend some I use TwistedWave for iOS.
