Looking for an appropriate style for "The Jody Grind"
Herbie2 seemed ok, but it has that double-time feel to it. The iRealPro style 'Blue Note' is good but I need this on BIAB. There doesn't seem to be many specific 'hardbop' styles.
Any suggestions?

If you have a BIAB version with Band Styles some of the Smooth Jazz ones sound pretty good for a bit of a laid-back approach. I use STC2TP.STY (with sax solo turned off) for Affirmation and I just tried it for Jody Grind changes. Sounds pretty reasonable, could be there are better ones. Might be made better with a custom "Jody" bass line.

Oh - and here's an idea. I just found a YouTube with a guy playing the Jody bass line (quite well) on stand-up with no other instruments. As most of us have a bit of time on our hands lately, might be a fun little project to rip that audio, import it into BIAB and find suitable drums, piano etc. Here's the YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vy4lU7kWXvs

What a great song. I forgot about it completely...
When listening to it I noticed a distinct McCoy Tyner flavor in Silver’s playing. And lo and behold... He uses the same voicings and triad pairs as McCoy on My Favorite Things.
McCoy plays two minor triads on the Em7: E minor triad and F# minor triad, in different inversions.
Silver plays two minor triads on the Bbm7: Bm triad and C#m triad.
Great playing.
