Hi friends, I have BIAB 2019 for MAC. I have a windows laptop and would like to get a BIAB pro for windows. I wonder if I could convert the files and use them for the windows version? Thanks in advance

There are some users on the forum who run both Mac and PC. I'm sure someone from that group will be able to answer your question accurately.

I have both, and the thought occurred but I bought BIAB again for the second platform.
My case is reversed, since I have the audiophile Windows version. If there were an easy way to batch convert the RealTracks to Mac format, that would be nice but I suspect it would take a great deal of time. The audiophile files take up over 1.5 TB.
BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.

There are a number of audio conversion programs out there so yes it can be done, although it would take time, probably a lot of time. But I would worry about the legality of doing it.
Doc-take it easy John this is just a sharp scalpel. It will not cut deep so don't worry.

Not a clue...
By the way, it's probably easier the other way around : a Windows version runing on mac (with parralel desktop for exemple, that's what I do on a regular basis and it runs smoothly)...

Just in case you were about to buy a Windows copy at first-time-purchase pricing, or in case another user with the same question comes along, I thought I should mention our "Crossgrade" pricing, which is quite a bit easier on the wallet.
If you already own a copy of Band-in-a-Box for one OS, you qualify for Crossgrade pricing to the other OS.

You can convert them just look in the Tip's n Tricks forum.
If you have the Windows Audiophile version you can use that on the Mac as it will use the wav files.
You just need to rename the Library folders to LibraryM,
you have one in the RealTracks folder and one in the Direct Input folder.
If you want to use the Audiophile hard drive on both Win and Mac create a Windows folder symbolic link "Library" that points to the "LibraryM" folder, do the same for both Library folders then Windows BB will still find the Holds.
