I'm not 100% sure where to post this so please move to correct forum.
I just wanted to give some positive feedback here. I bought BIAB way back in 2006, but due to various reasons I had to abandon it after a year or so. (Read: Family life took too much time) Last week I decided to get back into it. I asked PG support about my old license. They found my old user (with an outdated email address) and told me I was was allowed to purchase the "Upgrade from 2018 or earlier" of BIAB Mac. So I got the Ultrapak+ for a real bargain. After 14 years!!! Incredible. I also decided to put in the extra $25 to have the hard drive shipped. $25!!! To Norway! With FedEx express! Unbelievable. It arrived in a matter of days, even in these virus times. I had spent about 2,5 hours downloading and installing the software this weekend. Now I plugged in the HDD, ran the installer, and 3 minutes later I could delete the first installation. True magic. Thank you PG Music. This is truly excellent service. I really look forward to digging into BIAB again. I plan to use BIAB mostly for creating new songs and experimenting with various parts like piano, drums etc, and to get better at writing progressions. I also expect to use it for guitar practice. For production work I have Logic Pro X with various stuff like EZ Keys, EZ Drummer etc. I am 49 years old, a classical guitarist by education, but play jazz/fusion electric guitar as well. I recently recovered after almost 10 years of severe illness, so I finally have the time and energy to get back into writing some music as well. Good news sir and welcome back to the forums! You'll really like the helpfulness here once you hit a couple of stumbling blocks with the software. The community has expanded quite a bit in the past 10 years.

Welcome back, in several respects.
One tip that may help you now: PG Music changed the user interface (GUI) a couple of years ago, but the old one remains. You might find it easier to reacclimate yourself with the old interface. Use CTRL+T to shift between old and new.
Also, the major change in BIAB from that time was the introduction of RealTracks and RealDrums. It's no longer just MIDI.
