Hi all,
I have a fast fibre internet connection, an Apple Imac, BIAB 2020, a Focusright Scarlett audio interface, a SonicCell sound module and an Akai EWI 4000s.
I'd like to play some tunes over Zoom with someone in another location. I can connect the Zoom session and play my EWI OR I can play a BIAB file and it sounds fine to the person on the other end of the Zoom session. BUT if I play the EWI AND the BIAB file together the audio breaks up for the other person. It does not break up for me.
Any suggestions?

Audio over Zoom is complicated. There are settings in your account as well as others in the app itself. It would be nice if there was a clear, simple, step-by-step guide... but there isn't. This is the best I've found: You want to watch this 10 minute video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMu3C3cpVLgwhich explains this free 75 page book http://musictechexplained.com/where Edgar Rothermich gets in the the settings, both App and web portal, so that you can get the best experience. Those new to Zoom or just curious should start here. It doesn't cover audio like Edgar but it gives you a good overview and basic settings. I need the paid version. By searching around for coupons and paying a year in advance, I was able to get it for $122 rather than the $14.99 monthly. I'll start to dig in I guess. In a way it's good to have something to work on and research but I do seem more lacking in patience than normal.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
