Is anyone or has anyone had issues with these styles? The count-in is in 4 and they play like 12/8.

Is anyone or has anyone had issues with these styles? The count-in is in 4 and they play like 12/8. There seems to be a long time limitation with the program on the count-in. I suspect it treats each measure of the bar as triplets, but uses a 4 beat count in. I've asked about this many times. Can you mention a specific Style name? I just tried with these 6/8 Styles _FORRES.STY, GOODNIGHT.STY and TARENTLA.STY and got a 4-beat count in.

_NAVAN is the style in particular. I have not checked all the styles in 6/8, but of the ones I checked, it's the same thing. Two measures of 4 beat count-in with 4 beats in the measure with triplets on each beat. That's 12/8 where I come from. I'm trying to make a backing track. I know I can work around it, but what a pain. This is basic music theory. I did a backing track years ago in 6/8 and it worked fine, so I don't know what changed.
I was on chat here last week and was told to keep doing the updates. She said the developers were backed up, but would submit the problem. It may be 6 months before a solution is available. Really?

Really? 6 months? I have been asking for the correct time signatures for years! 6/8 is not 3/4. 5/4 is not 4/4. Correct time signatures with the correct count-ins are vital IMHO.

Click up top on the Drums track menu and Force Drum Track to MIDI Drums
then see what count-in you get.

Same issue when you force drums to MIDI. I can deal with a wrong count-in. The issue is 12 beats per measure. You can't insert a marker mid-measure for a drum fill in this fashion. This is kind of a huge thing in my opinion that should go to the top of the fix list. I can't believe more folks haven't chimed in on this.

Recently I have been removing the count in for recording purposes over in my DAW. So I don't suffer from this problem. However, there can still be a world of pain moving files from BIAB to the DAW. Some of these problems appear to be new. But I gave up on reporting these issues. Midi output files (ChordOutput) now appears to be missing the initial couple bars following the count-in. So if I remove the count-in it messes up the start of the midi files.
In 6 months there will be a new version and things will change again. Sorry - do I sound cynical?

So apparently this was discussed in 2017 & 2018 & was supposed to go to developers then. Hmmm...6/8 is a pretty common time signature. Frankly, I'd like to hear a good reason why this hasn't been addressed.

...The issue is 12 beats per measure... I think to get real time signatures and more than 255 bars it will need a total rebuild. I don't know if they'll do something with the BiabPlugin version ?
