I've seen a couple of places where a Realtrack has a subsecond "glitch" - static or distortion. It's quick, but noticeable in the mix. The track I'm currently working with is "2284, Bass, Acoustic, BossaRon Ev 140". If I regenerate the part, it's gone at least from the exact spot where it was before (but of course that gives me a different part playback, and in this case I had frozen the track). Has anyone else experienced this and is there a workaround/fix?

Yes, I have experienced that several times in ten years. I reported it each time it occurred and a patch was issued. Make a recording of the sound and send an email to support@pgmusic.com and reference this thread.
You've ruled out RFI and EMI as causes, I trust, since you believe it only happens on that one RealTrack. I use that particular bass track, too, and don't recall hearing a problem, but I'll try it again.

I just sent a note to support as you suggested - thanks!. I'm still getting the pop every time I regenerate, just in different places.

Very good. With traveling, I haven’t yet tried to duplicate.
Couple of questions in the meantime:
Can you define this noise more? Is it a note that is distorted or is it static not associated with a played note?
Does it occur in the same chord?

Great food for thought. It's a pop that I think is a digital zero clip - just instantaneous, no distortion of any length.
It DOES seem to be on the same chord progression - Gmaj7 | Bm7 Bb7+ | Am7 . It's happening on either side of the "Bm7 Bb7+" chromatic progression. I have that progression probably 30+ times in the song and it only happens once, and not the first time. Also happens in a transposed part - key of F - again only once. The bass notes it happens on aren't the same, but the chord movement is.
I'll update my email to support - this may help to narrow it down. I also froze tracks and saved off a version of the song I can provide them if needed. It's a copyrighted cover, so I don't want to put it up publicly.

Spoke too soon - regenerated again and it's happening on other chords. Still just that one RealTrack.
