This may have already been addressed but I can't find any posts. I don't use midi a lot but occasionally will enter notes on the melody track. When I render the track to audio - individually or otherwise - the last measure is dropped off. I have been able to work around this, but would like to understand why it does this and if there is an easier fix. When converted to performance track and moved to audio it is ok.
I use MIDI melodies on the Melody track a lot and I have not come across this problem.
Does the cut-off happen with held note or a bar(s) that have melodic movement?
In the meantime, try the below and see if it helps...
To set the render settings...
1. Select "Audio | Export Song as Audio".
2. In the 'Render' window that appears, check that the "Delay at end" is set to 2 seconds (you might want to set it to a higher value also).
3. Click on "render" (#4 on image). This will render the song and, most importantly, update the 'render' settings so that any render after these settings are changed with have these settings.
Here are several files that demonstrate this problem. As you can see, the melody track plays correctly during playback but when rendered to audio, the last note or measure is not included. The work-around for me is to convert the melody track to a performance file and then move it to the audio track.
