Can someone explain to me, in technical terms, why RB doesn't permit me to drag a window across the full extent of my 2-monitor extended desktop? It seems to allow me to move a "principle" window off my main monitor onto the secondary one to a limited extent, but not beyond that. By "principle", I mean the Tracks window, the Piano Roll window, and the Chords Window.
However, I am able to drag a vst window as far off onto the 2nd screen as I want.
I'd really like to have a full view of the Tracks Window on one monitor and the Piano Roll or Chords Windows on the other.
If anyone can help me understand the technical limit (maybe has to do with architecture or design), I'd appreciate it!

In the Windows display settings drag the secondary display "2" above or below the primary "1" then make RealBand bigger vertically and see if that helps.
I realize this is an old thread, but I'm trying to accomplish the same thing.
I am using dual monitors that are correctly set up, but I cannot use them in Realband.
No explanation was provided how this example was accomplished.
Could someone please advise the necessary steps to perform in Realband that will allow the windows to become separated so they can be moved? Specifically the Tracks, Bars and Mixer windows.
