Setting Asio 4 all in say BIAB should not effect the audio driver in other audio programs on your PC. This is true of any audio driver it should only effect the program it is set as the Audio driver for. The fact that its called Asio 4 all does not mean globally, for the whole PC. Even so I don’t like it I find it more trouble than it worth, I mostly and try to use dedicated manufacturers Asio drivers for things like my Audio interface. Mike
I'm with Mike in that ASIO 4 All can be a PITA. All it is is a wrapper for MME.
But without more information about your system it is almost impossible to make any suggestions on how to solve your problem. Let us know about your system, i.e. CPU, sound card, RAM, etc.
