Hi all. It's been four years since I visited this forum. I was an enthousiastic BiaB user for a couple of years. Started with a pro pak and quickly upgraded to the ultra plus paks. And when RealDrums saw first light I made sure to upgrade every year. In 2016 I had an accident which later forced me to give up my life on stage. I did buy the 2016 ultra plus pak on HDD and I remember using it on my old computer. When it became clear that I had to give up my gigging life I stopped playing and making music all together. Now, nearly four years later I'm rebuilding my home studio again and starting to play and sing again.
But for some reason when I run the installer on the BiaB 2016 HDD it installs BiaB 2013. Funny thing is that when I run BiaB from the HDD it runs BiaB 2016. Any ideas? I am so rusty on these things these days...

It sounds like you have 2016 installed on the 2013 drive ?
The installer should be in X:\PGMusic\Installers, if you hover over it will show what version the installer is or look at the file date.
You can copy it manually to your C drive and run the fonts and dx plugins installers.

Hi Mike!
From our records, your 2016 UltraPlusPAK was purchased as a download only - the last hard drive version you purchased was the 2013 version. Pipeline probably has hit the nail on the head, and you likely installed the 2016 version into the 2013 hard drive.

Thanks all. That must be it then. I must have backed up the 2016 version on the 2013 HDD. Still got holes in my memory...
At least I can use BiaB 2016 again. Start woodshedding again. And who knows I'll get hooked again and upgrade to BiaB 2021 this Christmas.

Different schools of thought but I like to update both my internal drive and the supplied PG Music drive. I also make a point of saving all my .EXE installation files so I could always reconstruct and install again. You start with whatever was your purchased full version (2013).
Your better path is likely to get the 2021 update and install it in both places.
