Iam using Biab 2021, build 804 and have problems with my midi plug-ins, nothing seems to work properly... 1) when I right click (in the mixer) on a midi track, I am informed that the default synth is Coyote WT. Ok, I would like to set Coyote FORTE, which I bought years ago, and which I have both in my BiaB order and in the VST order of my program files(86). How do I change my default synth? 2) Maybe I am lucky with a left click on a track (still in the mixer) and I check "choose plug-in": here I get a choice between Coyote WT and Sforzando, fine, but I have many other plug-ins like Fender, Amplitube or sample tank. How do I bind them in BiaB? 3)Wait, there is still the option "plug in settings" and there I find an option to add plug-ins... Under "exclude" midi or audio plug-ins I now find a certain number of my plug-ins. just uncheck them all, add them to add plug-ins and that s it. Unfortunately it does not work and as soon as I have unchecked under exclude I get a yellow card, these plug ins are not valid ( Sforzando beeing the first one concerned!!). When I come back to "exclude" all my unchecked Plug-ins are duly checked again. I include the corresponding screens for this all. The last screen concerns Sforzando, which works ok, after all. But I am missing a Biab order with basic instruments, which I think was there in the former versions. Why has it not been replaced automatically with BiaB 2021? Sorry for this lot of questions and thanks for help... Bernard

Coyote Forte is 32bit and not compatible with either BIAB 2020 or 2021 (64bit).
Hey, don't shot the messenger. I am still sensitive to losing my favorite synth a year ago when BIAB went to 64Bit.
Here is what I recall. Others will correct if needed.
The jBridge program makes it possible to run 32bit VST/VSTi plugins in 64bit hosts, 64bit plugins in 32bit hosts, or even bridging 32bit plugins to 32bit hosts, allowing to overcome the memory limitations of a single 32bit process, in this last case.
The Coyote Forte is a 32 bit Dxi application and therefore not compatible with J-Bridge.
Thanks for the hint and dont worry, I am not "shooting" at all, continuing to "have fun" with BiaB anyway... It is just that with every new version you have to fight (and be patient for all the upcoming patches)in order to find about the same level as you had before... Since last year I have been using the 64bits version exclusively and will now explore the 32bits version again... Bernard
i think you'll find that the 64 bit TTS1 dxi synth works fine - see Peter Gannon's sticky post about getting it free with Cakewalk. I actually prefer the sounds to the Forte which i also have. jbridge will work fine if any of your plugins are 32 bit and you want to use them with 64 bit BIAB but you need the latest patch as that was one of the bugs that was fixed.
Last year, Peter Gannon indicated that a 64-bit Coyote Forte might be forthcoming, but I've heard nothing since. It seems to me that if Coyote Electronics can upgrade the WT DXi to 64-bit from 32-bit, they ought to be able to the same for the Forte.
